Heavy downpours could lead to reduced visibility and slippery roads, particularly on major routes linking the province to Gauteng and Limpopo. Motorists have been advised to exercise patience and caution.
“Maintain safe following distances during heavy rain,” Phemelo warned, highlighting the increased risk of accidents during sudden storms.
