In the midst of all the I’m A Celeb 2025 chaos, there’s some drama erupting with a hidden beef being revealed we never actually saw on the show. It was a long time ago, but clearly the wounds still run deep because it’s just been brought up all over again. Alison Hammond went on I’m A Celeb Unpacked (aka, Get Me Out of Here Now, aka Extra Camp, aka who can even keep up anymore honestly) and brought up that she had major feud with none other than eventual winner Shaun Ryder back in the day. It’s caused pure drama because everyone loves both of these two!
‘Instant dislike’
ITV have flown their darling Alison Hammond out to Australia to appear on Unpacked alongside a panel that included Leigh Francis. Whilst speaking to Joel Dommett and Kemi Rodgers about the current series, Alison Hammond brought up a feud from her series back in 2010 that prompted a fair bit of I’m A Celeb drama.
Alison revealed that as she came into the jungle as a late arrival in 2010, and instantly Shaun Ryder didn’t get on with her. Alison said: “When I went in there, I’ll never forget, I walked in and said the party’s here with my Terry’s Chocolate Orange and everyone was like [unbothered face].
“Then, Shaun Ryder hated my guts straight away. He was very rude! So hopefully there are no Shaun Ryder’s in there.”
Leigh Francis then tried to defend Shaun Ryder because he was shocked at the revelation. He said “I know Shaun and he’s normally really lovely”. Alison however was not having it, and fair play. Every time he was mentioned she made a noise to tell everyone she was deeply unimpressed.
I need to know who’s going to have the big beef in the camp this year. Whilst I’m A Celeb has been fun so far, we’re in dire need of a feud and I think everyone should take this Alison Hammond vs Shaun Ryder one as the blueprint. Let’s get scrapping!
