The Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) is offering an exciting Graduate Internship Programme for unemployed South African graduates who have not yet gained work experience in their field of study. The programme runs for 24 months (2025–2027) and aims to provide valuable workplace exposure in a professional government environment.
Successful applicants will be placed in relevant departments within the IPID to gain hands-on experience and practical skills that will prepare them for future employment opportunities.

General Requirements
- Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens.
- Must not have previously participated in any internship or work-integrated learning programme.
- Must provide an affidavit confirming that they have not taken part in a similar programme before.
- Must have good character and integrity—applicants will undergo security vetting.
- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) (submit certificate when shortlisted).

Applicants are required to submit the following documents:
- A fully completed and signed new Z83 form (available at www.gov.za/documents or any Public Service Department).
- A comprehensive, recently updated CV.
- An affidavit confirming that you have never participated in any previous internship programme.
 Do not submit copies of your ID or qualifications at the application stage.
Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies before interviews.
