Netflix has released a psychological thriller film, ‘The Woman in Cabin 10’ starring Keira Knightley as journalist Laura “Lo” Blacklock, whose luxury cruise assignment turns dark after she uncovers a murder plot onboard.
The film is based on Ruth Ware’s bestselling novel of the same name.
In the film, Lo, a sharp and determined journalist, boards a luxurious superyacht, the Aurora Borealis, for a travel assignment.
Owned by billionaire Richard Bullmer (Guy Pearce), the ship is filled with high-profile guests—and secrets.
On her first night, Lo is startled awake when she sees a woman pushed overboard from the cabin next door. But when she reports it, the crew insists no one is missing and that Cabin 10 was unoccupied.
Despite being dismissed and doubted, Lo can’t shake what she saw. She becomes obsessed with uncovering the truth, even as her credibility is questioned.
The more she digs, the more dangerous things become—especially with Bullmer and his frail wife Anne (Lisa Loven Kongsli) guarding their privacy.
