Director and speaker Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, has sat down with her unfiltered thoughts, which she is delivering through a documentary. This was announced via an Instagram post on Wednesday 10 December.

The preview of the documentary is set in October 2024, the same month that Rachel and estranged husband, Siya Kolisi announced their split via a joint statement.
“I’ve been in front of hundreds, sometimes thousands of people and a lot of the topics would be about living a balanced life. How do you do it all? How are you this amazing wife? This amazing mom, this social woman, you’re working out, you have this amazing business and career and foundation. And how do you just manage it all? And the truth is, I didn’t. I didn’t manage it,” she said.
“And a part of me now feels like I failed. And what that’s led me to is a point that I’m broken,” she continued.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Rachel revealed this documentary is not about divorce, but a look into her world.
“This documentary is not about divorce or public speculation. Instead, Falling Forward opens a window into Rachel’s inner world, revealing the moments that challenged her, the truths she had to confront, and the strength she discovered in moving forward when standing still felt easier,” read the statement.
Siya and Rachel were married for eight years before announcing their split in October 2024. The former couple have two children together – Nicholas (10) and Keziah (8). Rachel and Siya also adopted his two siblings – Liyema and Liphelo when they were younger, and raised them as a family of six.
Siya is rumoured to have a new girlfriend. Rumours began swirling of a romance between the Springboks captain and 24-year-old influencer Rachel John, after fans identified her as the woman seated next to him at the recent ATP Tour Finals in Turin.
Neither Siya nor Rachel has spoken out on the rumours. However, fans have noticed that some Springboks and some WAGS are following the 24-year-old. Take a look at what we know about the “new” Rachel here.
