The simple task added some much-needed colour to her garden and added some fun lighting at night.
Taking to Facebook, she said: “Thought I’d share my latest handmade planter.”
She first took some cheap wood pallets and cut them to the size of her plant pots.
She then attached them together to create a frame and gave them a lick of blue paint.
Once that had dried, she added solar lights to the bottom of the plant pots and then slotted them into the top.
The simple yet effective design gave her garden a splash of colour in no time.
She added: “Made from pallet wood and solar lights attached to the inside.
“I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out, just 3 more to make!”
She shared her easy DIY on the Facebook group, On a Budget, which boasts 1.3 million members.
She wasn’t the only one impressed with her handy work as plenty of people took to the comments to congratulate her on her build.
One person wrote: “Very nice.”
Another commented: “Lovely.”
“Brilliant,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “Love them.”
“Outstanding,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Simple but absolutely stunning.”
