SCARED of eye shadow? I’m confident I can change your mind with one product – cream shadow.
There’s no fall out, and they’re super easy to blend. Here are three of my favourites.
BUDGET
No7 Pro Artist Cream Eyeshadow, £11.95 for 3.4g, boots.com

The No7 Pro Artist Cream Eyeshadow is up there with some of the best[/caption]
This No7 range is one of the best make-up launches in a long while.
I’ve not found a product I don’t like, and this cream eyeshadow is up there with some of the best, so don’t be fooled by the affordable price tag.
You might have to add a couple of layers to get the colour you see in the pot, but the sparkles are there from the first swipe – perfect for party season – but don’t look too full-on for everyday glam.
I tend to use a primer to get the most wear out of the buttery formula if you have oily skin like me, but otherwise, they are brilliant.
MID-RANGE
Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow, £21 for 2.8ml, lisaeldridge.com

The Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex Eyeshadow is easy to blend and dries down fast[/caption]
As a rule, I prefer cream eyeshadows that come in a pot, like the other two here.
They tend to be easier to work with than more liquid formulas like this one.
But all good rules have an exception, and if anyone was to make me eat my words, it would be iconic make-up artist Lisa Eldridge.
The formula is just as easy to blend, but it dries down faster, which is great news for those of us with oily lids or fine lines, as it’s less likely to crease with wear, and even the super-glittery shades don’t feel heavy on my lids.
I’ve tried most of the shades from the range and every single one has worked with my skin tone, which is a rarity.
LUXURY
Kulfi Zari Eyes Eyeshadow, £30 for 5g, spacenk.com

The Kulfi Zari Eyes Eyeshadow applies like silk on the skin and a pot will last you years[/caption]
These eyeshadows are potentially the best I’ve tried. Super-pigmented, so a really tiny amount goes a long way and the pot will last years (don’t tell the hygiene police!).
As shimmery as any powder eyeshadow I’ve ever tried but mess-free in comparison, the glitter is held in the creamy formula so there’s no dusty fall-out on application and it’s really easy to blend.
The formula applies like silk on the skin, but when it dries down, it almost turns into a powder, meaning no smudging for those with oily lids.
PICK OF THE WEEK

I AM determined to take body care seriously this winter and it’s being made easier by the launch of Saltair in the UK this week.
Created by model and body-positivity activist Iskra Lawrence, the range contains everything you need to turn your bathroom into a mini spa, including luxe body oils, butters, scrubs and even an AHA deodorant (the only type of natural deodorant that actually works). Spacenk.com.
