Hundreds of cops will have to protect Mamdani’s big block party

The inauguration party that socialist Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is throwing for himself in downtown Manhattan on New Year’s Day will require a phalanx of between 350 and 400 cops to secure the seven-block event, police sources said.
