LILY ALLEN is about to surprise fans by dropping a secret album written in just ten days.
I can reveal she spent years struggling on new music before astonishing her team by putting together her entire fifth record — the first in seven years.

Although there were hardly any signs she’s even been back in the studio, it is completed and the Smile singer is ready to drop it sooner than people might think.
A music insider said: “Lily wants to really surprise people with this new music and everyone has been sworn to secrecy.
“It will tell the story of her move to New York and also how she coped with the breakdown of her marriage to David Harbour.
“There’s a real outpouring of emotions in it. She’s not had the easiest time and she’s ready to bare her soul.”
I can also reveal that she has signed with record label BMG, which looks after Kylie Minogue and Rita Ora, for the project.
We told in March how she had been approached by several labels, including BMG, which were keen to hear what she had been working on.
Then last month we revealed Lily, had stepped away from her BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me?, which she was hosting with best friend Miquita Oliver, to focus on her music.
Lily is also expected to go on tour in 2026, which will mark two decades since her debut album Alright, Still.
She has worked on music in London, Los Angeles and Nashville over the past two years, but admitted she was struggling to discover her sound.
On her podcast in January, she said: “I’m doing a little bit of work on myself in this beginning period of the year.
“Then I’m going to do some more writing, then I’m going to do my play [Hedda Gabler], hopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year.
“That would be nice, wouldn’t it?”
“It’s not real, I’m just trying to manifest it now.
“Listen, I’ve got this. We’re bringing Lily Allen back in 2025.”
Perhaps manifestation works after all.
