About the Artisan Trade Test Programme
The Hamba Nathi Training Center Artisan Trade Test Programme provides eligible candidates with an opportunity to undergo trade testing in various artisan trades. This initiative supports skills recognition, employability, and career progression through formal certification.
The programme is suitable for candidates who have completed the required knowledge and practical modules or who have gained extensive workplace experience.

Minimum Requirements

What is ARPL?
Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning (ARPL) is a formal assessment process that allows individuals with extensive workplace experience—but no formal trade qualification—to have their skills evaluated and certified.
ARPL enables experienced workers to obtain a nationally recognised artisan qualification without completing a full apprenticeship.
Who is ARPL For?
ARPL is designed for:
- Workers with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Individuals who gained skills through informal or on-the-job training
