Grace is one of the most talked-about people from this season of MAFS UK, and viewers just can’t agree on how to feel about her.
The 31-year-old midwife married Ashley in one of the first weddings of the new season of MAFS, and they very quickly clashed. Grace learned that Ashley had more traditional views than she did, and the comments he made about women made her uncomfortable.
In one clash during their honeymoon, Ashley made a passing comment about how he respected that Grace wasn’t “too fast” with the physical side of their relationship, which she saw as a red flag.

The couple have continued to work through their issues, but last night’s teaser showed them butting heads yet again. As the couple met each other’s families for in-laws week, Grace explained her feelings around Ashley’s “traditional” beliefs to some family members.
“I just don’t want you to tell me how to look, how to be. I don’t need it,” she said.
In another clip, she told Ashely that communicating with him is like “talking to a brick wall”.
People on TikTok are sharing their mixed emotions on the couple and Grace’s strong opinions. In one video, a TikToker accuses Grace of having “extreme” feminist views and doing “too much” over Ashley’s comments, especially about the nails incident.

“I would genuinely be over the moon if a guy said to me ‘Do you want to go and get your nails done?’ regardless of how he said it,” said one TikToker. “I’d be like, yeah, babes get me some French tips!”
“He’s a lovely guy, it’s a shame,” said another.
But some viewers are more sympathetic to Grace and get where she’s coming from.
“He is saying things that can be perceived as sexist constantly and is rightfully being told that’s not okay,” said one commenter.
“There’s no radical feminism on the the show, just women expressing to be treated as equal human beings. Why is that too much to ask?” said another.
Grace doesn’t seem to be bothered by the heat.
“I don’t owe anyone pretty,” she said in a recent Instagram post. “French tips to all that disagree.”
