About the Govan Mbeki Municipality Graduate Programme
This Graduate Programme aims to equip unemployed graduates with valuable workplace exposure across critical areas such as Finance, Governance, Infrastructure, Engineering, ICT and Environmental Management.
The initiative supports the development of young professionals while strengthening governance, financial sustainability and infrastructure service delivery across the Municipality.
Graduates from Govan Mbeki Local Municipality and the Gert Sibande District are particularly encouraged to apply.

To qualify, applicants must have:
- A National Diploma, Degree or Honours (postgraduate)
- Preferably reside within Govan Mbeki Local Municipality and/or Gert Sibande District
- A fully completed Official Application Form (available at municipal offices or website)
- A comprehensive CV
- Certified copies of:
- ID
- Academic qualifications
- Statement of results
- A municipal services account as proof of residence
- SAQA verification for foreign qualifications
