ISRAEL’S truce with Hamas was rocked by setbacks today within hours of Donald Trump’s dramatic Middle East peace declaration.
Seven Palestinians were shot dead in Gaza City after they were said to have crossed the “yellow line” Israeli forces withdrew under the term of Trump’s 20-point plan.

And Israel set a deadline until the end of the today to return dead hostages after accusing Hamas of breaking its pledge to return all captives.
Israel Defence Forces chiefs said five Palestinians were killed after approaching troops in Gaza City’s eastern Shejaiya neighborhood early today.
Soldiers opened fire after the “suspects” were claimed to have ignored orders to disperse.
The army denied reports that any of those killed or other gunmen had managed to breach an army encampment in the area.
A spokesman said: “The IDF calls on Gaza residents to follow its instructions and not to approach the troops deployed in the area.”
Tensions spiked as relatives of the families of dead hostages erupted in fury as Hamas released just four of 28 bodies on Monday as a noon deadline passed.
Hamas claims it has been unable to locate up the 15 corpses lost in the chaos of the Gaza War – but families believe the terror group is holding on to their loved ones remains.
