Dr Claude Mashego, Miss World South Africa 2023, has officially joined the ranks of the “brides-to-be” after announcing her surprise engagement on social media.
The beauty queen and medical doctor shared the news via Instagram, posting a series of images documenting the romantic proposal.
The photographs captured the moment Mashego walked into a lavishly decorated venue to find her partner waiting to pop the question.
Expressing her delight, she captioned the post: “Mrs B loading… in my ‘my man, my man, my man’ era.”
Mashego’s engagement adds to a remarkably busy year for high-profile South African nuptials.
The 2025 calendar has already seen several stars wed, including Natasha Joubert and Zozibini Tunzi, while others such as Mia Le Roux and Lalla Hirayama have also confirmed their plans to marry following recent engagements.
