Fluminense will open up their FIFA Club World Cup campaign in good form, they are on a four-game winning streak across all competitions. That includes two victories in Serie A, a 2-0 triumph over Once Caldas in the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, and a convincing 4-1 second-leg win against Aparecidense in the Copa do Brasil.
However, Renato Gaúcho’s team aren’t having things all their own way. They currently sit sixth in the Brazilian top flight, with 20 points from 11 matches. But they do carry valuable Club World Cup pedigree, having finished runners-up to Manchester City as recently as 2023.
