Feel Good host Andy Maqondwana recently asked Kaya 959 listeners to reflect on their healthiest habits.
Not in the physical sense of gym or diets, but behavioral habits that keep you mentally and emotionally well.
“Things that are proven to be healthy behaviors for you and healthy habits for you,” Andy explained.
She gave a few examples and said, “Maybe you have a healthy habit of leaving after the first red flag, you don’t even wait to see if it’s really orange or yellow. If it looks like a hue of red, slyza tsotsi! You will not find yourself there.”
Or perhaps your healthy habit is speaking up when something feels wrong or unfair.
“You have the habit of always speaking up and so far it’s worked well for you. Whether it’s short term or long term working well either way it always works out well for you,” Andy added.
One of Andy’s healthy habits is planning her day down to the tee.
“I’m the kind of person where I always have to plan my day. I have a full on notepad that tells me every single day, this is what we’re doing,” she said.
“It just makes my life and my head and my heart very, very healthy.”
Feel Good listeners joined the conversation and shared their own inspiring habits which include not borrowing money, dating far from where they stay and time management.
