About the Eskom Learner Plant Operator Programme 2025
Eskom’s Generation Division is offering 20 Learner Plant Operator opportunities within the Human Resources Department at Lethabo Power Station. This programme aims to provide successful candidates with both institutionalised and on-the-job training in the Operating Department, preparing them for skilled roles within Eskom’s operations.
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
Applicants must have one of the following:
- Grade 12 with:
- Mathematics (50%)
- Physical Science (50%)
- English (40%)
- OR N3 with:
- Mathematics (50%)
- Science (50%)
- English (40%)
- OR NCV Level 4 with:
- Mathematics (50%)
- Science (50%)
- English (40%)
- OR a National N4/N5 Certificate with Trade Subjects
- OR a National N6 Certificate with Trade Subjects
- OR a National Diploma/BTech/BEng/BSc Eng in a relevant field
Experience:
- No prior experience required.
- Applicants will undergo a recruitment process and, if successful, will be placed within Eskom Operations.
- Must be a South African citizen.
