Eric Koston continues to shake hands with Nike SB and Nike Sportswear, this time to rework a classic—the Air Max 95. Known for his deep ties to Nike’s design legacy since 2009, Koston brings his skate-minded perspective back to the forefront.
To celebrate the AM95’s 30th anniversary, Koston put his magic on this classic model.
Honouring his heritage, Koston adds Thai script on the toe cap, a personal detail that also nods to early SB designs. The tongue and sockliner feature his name, locking in the signature feel. While the iconic wavy AM95 look remains intact, the materials have been upgraded to include leather and suede, double-stitched for added durability. Under the hood, the foam has been scaled down, and the sole now features updated herringbone treads to improve grip and board control, all while keeping the Max Air unit for cushioning.
