Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus revealed his massive hangover after a night of celebrations following the team’s Rugby Championship win over the weekend.
The 52-year-old led the team to back-to-back victories after securing four out of six games to clinch the title.
RASSIE SUFFERS ‘TOUGH’ HANGOVER
In a video that has gone viral and has left many South Africans amused, Rassie Erasmus appeared worse for wear after the Springboks beat Argentina’s Los Pumas in Twickenham on Saturday, 4 October.
Lying on the floor, with his head resting on a pillow, the coach said: “This morning I woke up as a champion”.
In Rassie’s hand was the Rugby Championship trophy, which he proudly held up.
Assistant coach Felix Jones also looked out of his element, and his bewildered look in the clip soon became a trending meme.
Rassie captioned the clip: “The Springboks won four out of their six games to clinch the title, securing the top spot above Argentina, Australia, and the New Zealand rugby teams”.
