After months of strategising, training, and game action, the Springboks staff are finally enjoying the fruits of their hard labour with several rounds of drinks.
This follows South Africa’s final game of 2025, against Wales, whom they beat 73-0.
Over the last 12 months, the Boks have won 12 out of their 14 matches, achieving an impressive 85.71% win rate. They have retained their first place in World Rugby’s ranking.
Much of their success is due to coach Rassie Erasmus and his team of assistants.
SPRINGBOK STAFF CELEBRATE END OF TEST SCHEDULE
On X, Springboks defence coach Jerry Flannery posted several pictures of the staff’s celebrations after South Africa beat Wales.
This included drinks with fellow staffers, such as Felix Jones, Duane Vermeulen, Daan Human, Tony Brown,, and others. Another image saw Jerry – who hails from Ireland – holding a bottle of popular South African whiskey, Klipdrift.
“A long November but unreal craic with it”, he captioned the post.
In the comments section, South Africans praised the group for their stellar work in making the Springboks a winning team.
Others hilariously asked for “the morning after” update.
The post comes weeks after Felix Jones was caught on camera looking worse for wear after a night of boozing with coach Rassie Erasmus.

COMING BACK BETTER THAN EVER?
The Springboks have officially concluded their 2025 test schedule and will return to their respective clubs.
Staff will take a well-deserved break before reuniting next year to do it all again.
