Er, Divarni and Julia-Ruth’s marriage is not exactly going great at the moment. According to Divarni’s cousin, a huge “red flag energy” moment from Divarni and Julia-Ruth’s wedding that wasn’t shown on MAFS UK really concerned his family from the get-go. This is fascinating stuff.
Divarni‘s cousin Tia – who later popped up on MAFS UK for in-laws week – spilled the tea on TikTok. She said: “At the wedding party on the bride’s side there was a speech made with some big red flag energy. That’s why the next day her back was up and the road of stress joined their happiness.”
The speeches at the wedding reception didn’t make the final edit of MAFS UK. Apparently, Divarni’s bestie made a “heartfelt” and “beautiful” speech at the wedding. Julia-Ruth‘s friends also made a speech. Tia was not impressed with the vibes.

“Within the speech, it was as if they were mocking it. The word “girl code” was used as if they had some secret to hide that only they were privy to. The three were laughing, like they knew something we all didn’t. It annoyed a few of us.
“But this is not where the disrespectful behaviour ended. It was only just the beginning. There were more things said throughout the wedding party that were upsetting me.”
According to Tia, Julia-Ruth’s friends kept asking things about Divarni that she thought were “quite obscene and not appropriate” questions for a cousin.
Tia also claimed Divarni was really open with Julia-Ruth on their wedding day that he had a child, and brought this up right after the ceremony. In her opinion, Julia-Ruth showed the “bare minimum” interest in Divarni’s child. Tia considered it “mind-blowing” and “offensive” that later on in the experiment, Julia-Ruth ranked children as her lowest priority for a relationship.

She continued: “There were things hidden from the groom’s side about her [that] we will never know the truth on. But keep in mind, we warned him that something was not right and none of us could put our finger on it before anyone left the the wedding.”
Julia-Ruth has also been vocal about her time on MAFS UK. She shared in a lengthy Instagram statement: “I came into this experiment hoping for the best, a lifetime partner… I myself lost sight of that and who I am on my time in this experiment.”
