The horror unfolded outside a home in Wichita, Kansas, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Video, released by Wichita cops, showed the woman screaming while a man, wearing dark clothing, wrestled with her.
The home did not belong to her, as reported by the NBC affiliate KSN-TV.
She shouted out “Kevin” before being taken away.
The woman was turned around and led back up the driveway.
The man kept hold of her as he was taking her away before disappearing out of shot.
The woman was heard screaming as she was being hauled away.
Some sort of commotion can be heard in the background before a car sped away.
Cops are yet to find the woman and the man who appeared to take her.
But, they said she was taken by force.
Investigators probed a call that came from the Oklahoma area before concluding that it was unrelated to the incident.
Locals have been left traumatized at what unfolded.
“It’s dangerous,” one woman told the ABC affiliate KAKE-TV.
“That’s the truth. But, always, I believe there have always been kidnappings.”
She had just returned to the neighborhood following a trip to Mexico.
Parents have admitted they’re now fearing for their safety.
NEIGHBORHOOD’S FEARS
“The community, we’re all concerned,” Shawntrice Beard, a neighbor, told KSN-TV.
” I stay really close. I say right down the street, I’ve been staying here for approximately over a year now, and like I said, it’s alarming to see this transpire and take place definitely in our community.”
Locals told the CBS affiliate KWCH-TV the neighborhood is usually quiet.
They said that they’re not really used to any crime.
Anyone with information has been urged to contact Crimestoppers at 316-267-2111.
And, anyone who recognizes the man or woman should call 911.
