And despite Daisy actress Charlotte Jordan quitting the show earlier this year, her mother Christina has returned – for good.
Actress Amy Robbins has impressed viewers and bosses so much that her stint has now been turned into a permanent one.
A source told The Sun: “Amy is classic Corrie.
“She has really impressed bosses with Christina and how she’s slotted into the cobbles effortlessly.
“It was a no brainer to offer her a new contract and snap her up properly.
“Christina is shaping up to be one of Corrie’s classic women and there’s lots of things to come in the future as she and George get loved up.
“And there’s enough people for her to spar with on the cobbles when she feels the need.”
Christina’s return to the cobbles has seen her clash with her outgoing love rival Jenny Connor, and find a love interest in funeral director George Shuttleworth.
Actress Sally Ann Matthews was axed from the soap earlier this year as former Rovers landlady Jenny.
She makes way for the return of cobbles star Cath Tyldesley who’s character Eva Price will be the pub’s new landlady after a seven year absence.
Cath’s return will come later this year.
