What the Programme Offers
- A 4-year structured learning journey combining theory and hands-on experience
- Training at a designated Clover manufacturing plant
- Monthly stipend during the apprenticeship period
- Trade Test preparation and certification as a qualified Millwright
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity, applicants must have:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) with Electrical or Mechanical Engineering subjects
- At least 60% in Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy)
- At least 60% in Physical Science
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies continuously
- Experience in a production or maintenance department (advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities
During your apprenticeship, you will:
- Complete all practical and theoretical learning requirements
- Gain in-depth knowledge of maintenance theory, dairy technology, and productivity principles
- Attend training at a formal learning institution and training centre
- Participate in on-the-job training at Clover’s manufacturing plant
- Complete a Millwright Trade Test at the end of the programme
