The City of Tshwane has announced that it is launching a Black Friday sale, during which residents can qualify for a 100% discount on interest charges.
Tshwane mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya made the announcement on X on Tuesday, 11 November.
“We are running a Black Friday Sale. Do you have outstanding municipal debt? If yes, then you could qualify for a 100% discount on interest charges,” Moya wrote.
Deputy Mayor Eugene Modise also urged residents to take advantage of the initiative,
“This isn’t just a promotion; it’s a golden opportunity to clear outstanding balances and start the new year on a clean slate,” he added.
