About the Programme
The City of Johannesburg’s internship initiative provides qualifying students and unemployed graduates with valuable on-the-job training and practical experience in various departments. The internship is aimed at preparing participants for professional employment in their respective fields.
This opportunity is available for a period not exceeding 18 months and is open to Johannesburg residents who have never participated in any internship programme before.

1. Internship: Energy Unit
- Department: Environmental Infrastructure Service Department – Energy Branch
- Qualification: Bachelor of Science (BSc), Engineering/Construction Project Management, or Energy Studies
- Stipend: R10 109.86 per month
