The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), invites South African graduates to apply for the 2026 Graduate Internship Programme.

About the CIPC Graduate Internship Programme

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) is committed to youth empowerment through structured graduate internship opportunities. The initiative provides unemployed South African graduates with valuable workplace experience that complements their academic qualifications.

These internships aim to equip graduates with practical skills, professional development, and exposure to public service operations, helping them prepare for future employment opportunities.


Available Internship Opportunities

CIPC is offering three Graduate Internship Programmes in Pretoria for the 2025/2026 intake period:

1. Graduate Internship Programme for Supply Chain Management (x1)

Duration: 12 months
Stipend: R12 000 per month

Qualification Required: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics

2. Graduate Internship Programme in e-Communication (x1)

Duration: 24 months
Stipend: R12 000 per month

Qualification Required: National Diploma in Management Assistant, Business Management, or Contact Centre Management

General Requirements for All Internships

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen between 18 and 35 years old
  • Hold a relevant qualification as listed above
  • Be unemployed and have no prior work experience
  • Have never participated in any internship programme before
  • Be available to work full-time at the CIPC Sunnyside Office in Pretoria
  • Submit all required supporting documents in the correct upload sections when applying online:
    • Updated CV
    • Certified copy of South African ID
    • Certified copy of qualification(s)
  • Have foreign qualifications evaluated by SAQA (if applicable)

Remuneration

Each successful intern will receive a monthly stipend of R12 000.00 for the duration of the programme.
