Watch as fuming MAFS bride says she needs ‘time out’ as marriage hits the rocks after awkward exchange

A BRIDE on MAFS UK tells her other half tonight that she needs to take some “time out” of their marriage despite only just having tied the knot.

After getting off to an incredibly rocky start, viewers of the show were hopeful that as time passed and conversation flowed the pair would warm to one another.

But daredevil Anita, 56, has absolutely had it with father of three Paul, 60, and in an exclusive clip of tonight’s show shared with The Sun Anita has reportedly already asked to take a time out from her marriage.

She sat down with her husband to have a frank conversation about how their relationship was going.

Anita expressed how she felt she has asked lots about him, and asked Paul if he felt he had done the same for her.

“Do you think you know a lot about me?,” asked Anita.

“Do you think you’ve asked questions about my family?”

Paul momentarily paused before shaking his head and saying, “No. Not at all, no.”

To hammer her point home, Anita tested to see if Paul could remember the names of her kids.

“So, I know your three children’s names. Do you know my two children’s names?”

Silence filled the air as Paul looked lost in thought before, again, saying no.

It didn’t appear that Paul was overly bothered by this, which was a breaking point for Anita who said Paul never listens and she has “told him a hundred times” the names of her children.

Anita didn’t expend any more energy on the interaction, which seemed to be going nowhere, simply saying, “I need some time out.”

Paul raised both of his eyebrows and shut his eyes, seeming somewhat shocked despite his former lack of interest.

Fans of the show haven’t been fond of Paul’s behaviour from the start, slamming him as incredibly uninterested and as someone who uses humour to mask any chance of others getting to know them.

Anita was met with these behaviours from the start, and they immediately flew as red flags.

Paul bustled down the aisle with energy, endless humorous quips, and possibly too much talking due to nerves.

The moment he first spoke to Anita, she began to cringe and declared him as “not being the silver fox she had in mind“.

Despite the initial disappointment, Anita maintained a positive attitude, telling viewers she wanted to “give him a chance” and that she “hoped the attraction would come later”.

But those hopes have seemingly become dashed to the point of major damage.

Is there any chance of repair for this partnership?

Tune in to MAFS UK at 9pm tonight on Channel 4.
