Wedding guest leaves people horrified after breaking two of the bride’s requests – and her outfit isn’t the only issue
A WOMAN has caused outrage online after breaking two wedding guest rules.
While most of us know the unspoken rules not to break if you celebrate someone’s big day – it seems this woman never got the memo.

Taking to Reddit, a fellow wedding guest shared a snap of the woman as they were in shock with what they saw.
The guest wore a white dress to the event – a huge mistake by anyone’s standards unless you’re saying ‘I do.’
But that wasn’t even the last of it.
Taking to the forum Wedding Shaming, the guest wrote: “I genuinely didn’t think I’d ever see anyone wear white to a wedding, but alas, I can tick it off my bingo card.
“So many people were talking about the audacity of this woman.”
They described the white frock as a ‘Marilyn Monroe-style halter dress.’
While every other guest was stunned by the outfit, the guest seemed to not have a clue what she did wrong.
They continued: ” The maid of honour’s husband asked the bride if she wanted him to spill something down her, but the bride said no (she’s a much bigger person than I am!!)”
To top it off, the wedding was also supposed to be child-free, yet the wedding guest in white still brought her baby along.
They added: “It was actually a child-free wedding too. I left my toddler at home!”
The post soon went viral over on Reddit and many took to the comments, furious with the guest.
One person wrote: “It’s crazy how much this happens. Like, of all colours in the world, these people really think white is the way to go.”
Another commented: “The bride knew this woman already made a fool of herself, nothing else was needed.”
“Wearing white and bringing a baby to a wedding. Both annoying,” penned a third.
Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette
If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble.
- Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom.
- Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided.
- Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream – even if it’s not.
- Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered.
- Wearing white is a massive no-no if you’re not the bride.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “And they brought a baby. They intended on being a jerk.”
“It’s truly mind-boggling how unaware some people are,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Would have kicked her out immediately.”

‘Sure there’ll be banter’ – Premier League cult icon, 43, asks fans for help picking WIG after ‘running out of options’
LANDON DONOVAN has asked fans to help him pick out a wig after he ran “out of options”.
The Premier League cult icon was recognisable for his receding hairline during loan spells at Everton.

Donovan, 43, has now taken to social media to call on fans to help him come up with a solution.
He insisted that he has been dealing with the hair loss since he was 18 years old.
The former footballer revealed that he has tried hair transplant treatments in more than one spot.
He insisted that he does not want to shave off the rest of his hair or keep it as is for now.
He posted a video on X asking for advice from his 1.1million followers.
He said: “I need your help. Since I was 18, 19, 20, I’ve been dealing with that. Hairline used to be here, and now this.
“So I tried everything. Tried the hair transplant treatment here, tried it back here. Nothing’s worked.
“My options now are shave it bald — don’t want to do that, not an option for me.

“Leave it as is — not an option right now. Or I can try the last thing, which is a hair system, basically a wig, to see if that works.
“So that’s what I’m thinking about doing, but I need your help. If I do it, what type of hairstyle should I get?
“I’m sure there will be a lot of banter, funny answers, that’s fine. But real answers too. I need your help.”
Donovan’s hair struggles have been spotted in the past as it was on full display at Euro 2024.
Donovan is considered as one of the best players to star in the MLS since its inception in 1996.
He had two loan spells at Everton while he was contracted to LA Galaxy.

The winger made 22 appearances for the Toffees in all competitions, scoring twice and assisting nine goals.
His first loan only ran for two months and his second lasted six weeks so he could return for the start of the MLS season.
The American also enjoyed spells in Germany as he turned out for Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich in his career.
He hung up his boots for the last time in 2019, having won six MLS Cups with the Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes.
