Wedding guest leaves people horrified after breaking two of the bride’s requests – and her outfit isn’t the only issue
A WOMAN has caused outrage online after breaking two wedding guest rules.
While most of us know the unspoken rules not to break if you celebrate someone’s big day – it seems this woman never got the memo.

Taking to Reddit, a fellow wedding guest shared a snap of the woman as they were in shock with what they saw.
The guest wore a white dress to the event – a huge mistake by anyone’s standards unless you’re saying ‘I do.’
But that wasn’t even the last of it.
Taking to the forum Wedding Shaming, the guest wrote: “I genuinely didn’t think I’d ever see anyone wear white to a wedding, but alas, I can tick it off my bingo card.
“So many people were talking about the audacity of this woman.”
They described the white frock as a ‘Marilyn Monroe-style halter dress.’
While every other guest was stunned by the outfit, the guest seemed to not have a clue what she did wrong.
They continued: ” The maid of honour’s husband asked the bride if she wanted him to spill something down her, but the bride said no (she’s a much bigger person than I am!!)”
To top it off, the wedding was also supposed to be child-free, yet the wedding guest in white still brought her baby along.
They added: “It was actually a child-free wedding too. I left my toddler at home!”
The post soon went viral over on Reddit and many took to the comments, furious with the guest.
One person wrote: “It’s crazy how much this happens. Like, of all colours in the world, these people really think white is the way to go.”
Another commented: “The bride knew this woman already made a fool of herself, nothing else was needed.”
“Wearing white and bringing a baby to a wedding. Both annoying,” penned a third.
Wedding Guest Outfit Etiquette
If you're struggling to decided on a dress to see you through wedding season, here's a few rules on what not to wear so you don't get in trouble.
- Folklore says that wearing red at a wedding means you slept with the groom.
- Casual attire like jeans and flip flops should always be avoided.
- Any colour that could be picked up as white or cream – even if it’s not.
- Most would agree that your cleavage needs to be covered.
- Wearing white is a massive no-no if you’re not the bride.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “And they brought a baby. They intended on being a jerk.”
“It’s truly mind-boggling how unaware some people are,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Would have kicked her out immediately.”
