Katie Price sends Harvey back to college early after he smashes her £3k TV

KATIE Price has revealed that she has sent her son Harvey back to his college early after he caused damage to her TV.

The mum-of-five revealed her shock at discovering that Harvey had become frustrated and smashed up her huge £3,000 television in the living room of her property.

His behaviour has forced Katie to send him back to college early[/caption]

Katie documented the discovery on her Snapchat account before giving Harvey a dressing down for his actions and also confirming that she would be returning him to his college a day early as a result of his behaviour.

The former glamour model uploaded a video in which she filmed Harvey’s face and questioned him on his actions.

She revealed she was woken up by him smashing the TV at around six in the morning.

She asked him: “What has mummy just heard?”

Harvey calmly replied: “Smashing the TV.”

When she went on to ask him why he did it, Harvey appeared to answer that it had angered him as it was early in the morning.

Katie later told her fans that he told her off-camera that he did not like what was on the screen but she appeared to rebuff this suggestions as she could be sure that there was nothing being shown.

In the clip of her speaking to Harvey, she added: “You was going to college tomorrow to get some new meds [medication], but now when are you going?

“You are going now.”

Harvey replied to this news by saying: “Oh god!”

Katie insisted she had to spend the day getting a new TV and as such needed to send Harvey back to college before branding the whole ordeal as “sad”.

Harvey went on to apologise as he insisted he “would not do it again”.

Katie replied: “Well you’ve got to go to collage now and get some meds.”

Her decision for Harvey to go back to collage comes after she revealed that her 22-year-old son was due to start weight loss injections in order to control his ballooning weight.

Harvey weight around 30st as a result of his many complex needs, including Prader-Willi syndrome, but Katie hopes the use of weight-loss drug Mounjaro will keep it under control.

Speaking on her podcast with sister and co-host Sophie Price, Katie said:  “Hopefully Harvey starts his Mounjaro this week, but we’ll talk about that next week and I’ll go through all of what’s happening about that.”

The TV personality’s eldest child has Prader-Willi syndrome, which sparks a constant desire to eat food and a permanent feeling of hunger which leads to obesity.

Harvey battles a series of debilitating conditions including autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder.

In a video posted in April, Katie revealed: “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up.

“I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone.

“It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.”

She continued:  “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.”

Katie is also mum to Junior and Princess Andre as well as Jett and Bunny Hayler.

Katie Price's love life

We take a look back at the highs and lows of Katie Price's relationship history.

1996-1998: Katie got engaged to Gladiators star Warren Furman – aka Ace – with a £3,000 ring. But their relationship didn’t make it as far as ‘I do’.

1998-2000: Katie described Dane Bowers as ‘the love of her life’ but she broke up with the singer when he allegedly cheated on her.

2001: Footballer Dwight Yorke is the father of Katie’s eldest child Harvey. He has had very little to do with Harvey throughout his life.

2004-2009: The jungle romance resulted in Katie marrying Aussie pop star Peter. They had two kids, Junior and Princess, before their bitter split in 2009.

2010-2011: Fresh from her break-up with Peter, Katie enjoyed a whirlwind relationship and marriage with cage fighter Alex Reid. They split 20 months after their Las Vegas wedding.

2011: Katie briefly dated model Danny Cipriani… but it ended as quickly as it begun.

2011-2012: They didn’t speak the same language, but Katie got engaged to Argentinian model Leandro Penna in 2011. He later fled home to South America.

2012-2018: Wedding bells rang once more after Katie met Kieran Hayler in 2013. They had two kids together, Jett and Bunny, before their break-up and divorce.

2019: Katie was linked to Charles Drury during her on-off relationship with Kris. Charles, who also dated Lauren Goodger, has always denied being in “official relationship” with her.

2020-2023: Car salesman Carl Woods took a shining to Katie in 2020. Their relationship was up and down for three years. They broke up for a final time last year.

2024-present: After weeks of rumours, Katie confirmed her relationship with Married At First Sight star JJ Slater in February this year.

Incredible ringside angles of Fabio Wardley’s dramatic KO of Justis Huni as Frank Warren teases Oleksandr Usyk fight

INCREDIBLE ringside footage captured the moment Fabio Wardley dramatically knocked out Justis Huni to set up a world title shot.

Wardley was down on all the judges scorecards and behind on the punch stats after ten rounds at Ipswich’s Portman Road.

But the hometown hero produced the mother of all Hail Mary’s to knock Huni out with a huge right hand.

Ringside angles captured by Queensberry Promotions and DAZN revealed the brutal extent of Wardley’s home run shot.

The British heavyweight slipped to his left and his counter right produced a thudding sound – and down went Huni.

Wardley, 30, walked away with his unbeaten record intact and a WBA interim title for his troubles.

It puts him in line for the belt that Oleksandr Usyk defends on July 19 at Wembley against Daniel Dubois.

Wardley’s promoter Frank Warren told Boxing News: “No rush for anything, he’s secured his position with the WBA.

“A big fight’s happening on the 19th of July at Wembley between Usyk and Daniel Dubois.

“Whoever comes away with the four belts is going to have to start to make some mandatories and all the mandatory contenders are guys we work with.

“So they’re going to be pretty easy fights to make.”

Wardley is on the verge of going from recruitment consultant-turned-white collar boxer to genuine world title contender.

But he said: “I don’t profess to be any kind of Usyk or Justis Huni – someone with all the skills.

“But one thing I do know is how to win fights, dig deep, find a bit of heart, bite down on the gumshield, find a way to win.

“That’s one thing I had to do tonight. I should have performed better in some of the rounds.

“It’s not always the way it goes. Sometimes you just need to find a different way to win. So look, we pulled something out of the bag.”

Waitrose to make huge loyalty scheme change this week that will leave shoppers divided

WAITROSE is making a huge change to its loyalty scheme as it adds a new perk but shoppers will be divided.

The supermarket is offering shoppers the chance to borrow a reusable coffee cup so they can redeem their free coffee when shopping as part of a new trial.

Waitrose has made a huge change to its loyalty scheme[/caption]

Shoppers will have seven days to return the cup to a designated collection point or they will be charged a £3 penalty.

The trial will reduce plastic waste as part of a “circular” system.

The scheme will be available in nine branches before it can be rolled out more widely.

It is understood that its store in Newark is one of the shops taking part in the trial.

To “Borrow a Free Cup” shoppers will need to tap their MyWaitrose card.

They can then fill the cup from Waitrose’s hot drinks machine as usual.

A Waitrose spokesperson said: “We’re currently conducting a reusable cup trial in nine of our branches – it kicked off this week and is available for MyWaitrose members to use when redeeming their free coffee, or for our cafe customers to use if purchasing one.”

Shoppers who bring their own cup will still be able to claim their free coffee.

The only requirement for the reusable cups is that they fit under the nozzle of the self-service coffee machine.

What other changes has Waitrose made in store?

The move is the latest update to the supermarket’s free hot drink offer after it changed its free coffee terms and conditions in January.

Previously the posh supermarket only offered the free drink to shoppers who bought something in store first.

This is the same rule as was initially brought in when the deal was first launched in 2013.

Shoppers still needed to bring a reusable cup in order to bag the freebie.

Waitrose brought back the free coffee perk in October 2022 after it was axed in 2017 to cut costs.

Supermarket loyalty schemes - which has one?

MOST UK supermarkets have loyalty schemes so customers can build up points and save money while they shop.

Here we round up what saving programmes you’ll find at the big brands.

  • Iceland: Unlike other stores, you don’t collect points with the Iceland Bonus Card. Instead, you load it up with money and Iceland will give you £1 for every £20 you save.
  • Lidl Plus: Lidl customers don’t collect points when they shop, and are instead rewarded with personalised vouchers that gives them money off at the till.
  • Morrisons: The My Morrisons: Make Good Things Happen replaces the More Card and rewards customers with personalised money off vouchers via the app.
  • Sainsbury’s: While Sainsbury’s doesn’t have a personal scheme, it does own the Nectar card which can also be used in Argos, eBay and other shops. You need 200 Nectar points to save up £1 to spend on your card. You need to spend at least £1 to get one Nectar point.
  • Tesco: Tesco Clubcard has over 17million members in the UK alone. You use it each time you shop and build up points that can be turned into vouchers – 150 points gets you a £1.50 voucher. Here you need to spend £1 in Tesco to get one point.
  • Waitrose: myWaitrose also doesn’t allow you to collect points but instead you’ll get access to free hot drinks, and discounts off certain brands in store.

Supermarket staff handed out cups to customers after they had paid for their shopping and there was no minimum spend.

The move left some members fuming while others criticised it and pointed out that you could buy a small item, such as a banana, to get the free drink.

Last August Waitrose trialled recyclable disposable coffee cups in ten of its stores.

It originally removed disposable cups from its stores in 2018 to reduce waste.

The change meant that only shoppers who brought their own cup could claim their free coffee.

The 1% Club knocks out whopping 30 people with tricky smiley face question – could you work out the answer?

THE 1% Club knocked out a whopping 30 players with a smiley face question – but could you work out the answer?

Lee Mack hosts the ITV game show testing logic and common sense.

Quiz question: Are there more happy or sad faces in the image? Fifteen smiley faces are shown, some happy and some sad.

Contestants hope to reach the end and win up to £100,000 prize money.

However, one question saw an incredible 30 people eliminated in one fell swoop.

Presenter Lee asked: “Have a look at this picture. Are there more happy faces or sad faces?”

The players were then shown 18 emoji faces arranged in three rows of six.

Once the time limit was up, Lee revealed 30 people had answered incorrectly and were therefore out.

The right answer turned out to be “happy” – as there were 10 happy faces and eight sad ones.

With his trademark quick wit, Lee quipped: “Well, there’s 30 sad ones now!”

It’s not the first time a single question on The 1% Club caught out several people.

In a different episode, a savage limerick question took out 14 contestants,

The poetic puzzle asked: “Jamil is writing a limerick but needs a word that follows these rules to complete the last line…

“Two syllables, only two different vowels, starts with an even -numbered letter and contains at least three letters from the second half of the alphabet. Which of these words would work?”

The options were: Doggie, Blades, Hotel, Prizes and Rabbit.

The remaining players faces looked puzzled as they tried to figure out the answer within the 30 seconds.

Lee then revealed the right answer was Prizes – after 14 people had been knocked out.

The episode also saw an ‘easy’ common sense riddle knock out 23 people earlier on in the show.

Hardest Quiz Show Questions

Would you know the answers to some of quizzing TV's hardest questions

  • Who Wants To Be A Millionaire – Earlier this year, fans were left outraged after what they described as the “worst” question in the show’s history. Host Jeremy Clarkson asked: “From the 2000 awards ceremony onwards, the Best Actress Oscar has never been won by a woman whose surname begins with which one of these letters?” The multiple choice answers were between G, K, M and W. In the end, and with the £32,000 safe, player Glen had to make a guess and went for G. It turned out to be correct as Nicole Kidman, Frances McDormand and Kate Winslet are among the stars who have won the Best Actress gong since 2000.
  • The 1% Club – Viewers of Lee Mack’s popular ITV show were left dumbfounded by a question that also left the players perplexed. The query went as follows: “Edna’s birthday is on the 6th of April and Jen’s birthday falls on the 15th of October, therefore Amir’s birthday must be the ‘X’ of January.” It turns out the conundrum links the numbers with its position in the sentence, so 6th is the sixth word and 15th is the fifteenth word. Therefore, Amir’s birthday is January 24th, corresponding to the 24th word in the sentence.
  • The Chase – The ITV daytime favourite left fans scratching their heads when it threw up one of the most bizarre questions to ever grace the programme. One of the questions asked the player: “Someone with a nightshade intolerance should avoid eating what?” The options were – sweetcorn, potatoes, carrots – with Steve selecting sweetcorn but the correct answer was potatoes.

Lee said: “John writes with his right hand and the last word he’d right if he was writing this sentence would be be.

“If Keith writes with his left hand, what would be the last word he would write in the sentence above?”

The answer was the word ‘be’, as a different writing hand would not change the last word, something which many viewers playing along got correct.

The 1% Club airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
