You can add a custom photo design to the playlist to make it extra special.

Offer a DIY car wash, his favourite home-cooked meal, or a movie night of his choice to show him how much you care.

BOXING CLEVER: Upcycle old items into meaningful gifts.

Decorate it with string or ribbon from your craft box and a photo tag for an extra sentimental touch.

It will be something he can revisit whenever he needs a smile.

Why Meghan MUST drop the ‘Duchess’ title, – I know the REAL reason she’s blurring kids faces

Collage of Meghan Markle with her mother and child, Meghan and Prince Harry at a basketball game, and Doria Ragland.

SHE’S on a roll. There’s no doubt about it.

After a brief flirtation with being a member of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle/Sussex/Mountbatten- Windsor/Spencer is flying solo.

Marrying Prince Harry fired her into global fame and now she wants to capitalise on it[/caption]

The reports that Meghan is now seeking to trademark future ventures in the hospitality sector for her As Ever brand suggest she is now fully invested in life as an influencer and entrepreneur.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

But it has absolutely nothing to do with being royal.

Marrying Prince Harry fired her into global fame and now she wants to capitalise on it.

Somebody has to fund their Californian lifestyle, and Harry claims he has been financially cut off by his family.

After almost obsessive secrecy about their children and their home life, Meghan is now bombarding her growing band of social media fans with updates of what she, Harry and the kids have been up to.

To add some mystery, the children’s faces are obscured.

It’s a telling contrast to the pictures we see of William and Catherine’s young brood as they grow up.

Everything Meghan posts — from twerking videos on the labour ward to a family trip to Disney — multiplies the clicks and the potential revenue.

She’s turning out to be a shrewd operator — which perhaps she always was.

Again, I have no problem with that.

But to try to cling to the vestiges of her blink-of-an-eye time as a working royal is disingenuous.

So, Meghan, how about dropping the Duchess nonsense and the HRH which you are no longer entitled to use?

Be independent and successful.

Make your As Ever brand bigger than ever on your own.

You are an independent woman with a husband who adores you.

Just because he’s a prince doesn’t mean you have to hang on to the idea of being a princess.

You tried being part of the Royal Family and hated it.

Time to move on, which, I think, is what this is all about.

Prince William gives emotional plea to world leaders urging them to act to save the planet

THE Prince of Wales said watching humans destroy our oceans was “simply heartbreaking” as he urged world leaders to act by thinking big yesterday.

William‘s call came in a speech to the Blue Economy and Finance Forum on ocean preservation at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco after meeting France’s President Emmanuel Macron.

The prince, whose opening and closing remarks were in French, said those attending were “united by our deep connection to the ocean and our concern for its safety”.

William, in navy suit with a recycled sustainable tie from Wilmok, said the clock was ticking on meeting the target agreed at the 2022 UN Biodiversity Summit aiming to protect at least 30 per cent of the world’s land and sea by 2030.

Speaking at the heads of state and government session on the forum’s final day, the prince added: “Watching human activity reduce beautiful sea forests to barren deserts at the base of our oceans is simply heartbreaking.

“For the future of our planet, for the future generations, we must listen to the words of Sir David Attenborough: ‘If we save the sea, we save our world’.

“I call on all of you to think big in your actions.”

World leaders were greeted by a blue carpet as they arrived at the event, with William chatting with Mr Macron and other dignitaries.

Addressing an audience of 1,800, William said: “Rising sea temperatures, plastic pollution and overfishing are putting pressure on fragile ecosystems.

“What once seemed an abundant resource is diminishing before our eyes.

“We all stand to be impacted. And we are all responsible for change — both negative and positive.

“But there remains time to turn this tide.”

Later, William said he went through a range of emotions when he saw Sir David’s new Ocean film.

He told Enric Sala, who worked on the film: “I got angry, then sad, then I got frustrated, then I got happy.”

ACTOR Jared Leto has denied historical claims of sexual misconduct.

The star, 53, was accused by nine women, including some who were teenagers at the time.

But he has rebuffed the Air Mail report in which model Laura La Rue said she was just 16 when the then 36-year-old began messaging her.

Describing a visit to his home, she said: “He was flirting with me.

“He’d lean in close, then pull away.”

She says he later emerged from a room naked.

La Rue said: “I thought maybe this was just what adult men do.”

Leto starred as The Joker in Suicide Squad and won an Oscar and Golden Globe for Dallas Buyers Club

He is also the frontman to rock band Thirty Seconds To Mars

His representative said: “Their communications contain nothing sexual or inappropriate and Ms La Rue later applied to work as his personal assistant.”

La Rue denied she ever applied for the job.

Shoppers race to popular supermarket as bargain Fairy pods for 100 washes spotted on shelves

SHOPPERS are rushing to a popular chain with over 300 stores across the UK after spotting a cracking deal on a household essential.

Farmfoods is selling Fairy laundry pods offering 100 washes – yet priced at less than £20.

Farmfoods is selling bargain Fairy laundry pods, shoppers claim[/caption]

One savvy shopper took to social media to share their cheap find, writing: “100 washes are back in Farmfoods £19,99.”

This is a bargain compared to Amazon, where the same Fairy Platinum Non Bio Pods pack currently goes for £25.99.

Farmfoods is a Scottish frozen food and grocery supermarket chain with 341 stores across the UK.

Founded in 1955, Farmfoods is headquartered in Cumbernauld, Scotland, with a strong presence across Scotland, Northern England and Wales.

While Farmfoods specialises in frozen foods, the chain also sells a range of groceries and household essentials.

It comes as shoppers spotted Farmfoods is selling a limited edition chocolate that is a twist on a classic for just 49p.

Fry’s Turkish Delight Orange, which is a citrus twist on the classic floral tasting chocolate, was first picked up in stores last summer.

Meanwhile, Tom Church, co-founder of discount code website Latestdeals.co.uk shared with The Sun today the best times to shop at retailers like B&M and Poundland to save money.

He advised that Wednesday mornings are the best time to visit B&M, as “this is when most of the new reductions are dropped”.

Similarly, for Home Bargains, Tom recommends shopping first thing in the morning, as larger stores typically receive deliveries around 7.30am each day.

He also suggests taking a careful look around as you enter the store, explaining, “Often, Home Bargains keeps the best deals at the front to lure you in.

“You don’t want to walk straight past them on the way in!”

Superdrug often offers promotions and shopping incentives.

Tom says the best time to shop there depends on “what you’re buying, and timing your shop to coincide with a relevant offer”.

For example, the store often runs 3-for-2 deals on beauty products, so if you’re restocking your makeup bag, it may be worth waiting for that offer to return.

Aldi is well known for its middle aisle Special Buys, selling everything from air fryers to dupes for Dyson hairstylers.

These deals drop on Thursdays and Sundays, so arriving early on those days gives you the best chance to grab the bargains.

The store also has red stickers to point out an item has been reduced.

Tom said: “If you get there early, you have a better chance of bagging them. Just look out for red stickers.”

How to bag a bargain

SUN Savers Editor Lana Clements explains how to find a cut-price item and bag a bargain…

Sign up to loyalty schemes of the brands that you regularly shop with.

Big names regularly offer discounts or special lower prices for members, among other perks.

Sales are when you can pick up a real steal.

Retailers usually have periodic promotions that tie into payday at the end of the month or Bank Holiday weekends, so keep a lookout and shop when these deals are on.

Sign up to mailing lists and you’ll also be first to know of special offers. It can be worth following retailers on social media too.

When buying online, always do a search for money off codes or vouchers that you can use vouchercodes.co.uk and myvouchercodes.co.uk are just two sites that round up promotions by retailer.

Scanner apps are useful to have on your phone. Trolley.co.uk app has a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items when out shopping.

Bargain hunters can also use B&M’s scanner in the app to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.

And always check if you can get cashback before paying which in effect means you’ll get some of your money back or a discount on the item.

Common food item could lower your risk of heart disease & type 2 diabetes, boffins claim

BUTTER could actually reduce your risk of heart disease, scientists say.

Having a teaspoonful a day was found to cut the risk of getting type 2 diabetes by a third.

Butter could actually reduce your risk of heart disease, scientists say[/caption]

The study, published in the European Journal of Clinical Nutrition, found that butter boosts “good” cholesterol – which helps to remove harmful fats known to cause heart attacks and strokes.

Scientists from Boston University tracked 2,500 men and women over the age of 30 over decades, noting what they ate and how many went on to develop heart disease.

Those who ate five grammes of butter a day or more were 31 per cent less likely to develop Type 2 diabetes – usually caused by poor diet and lifestyle – than those eating little or no butter.

Margarines – often promoted as “healthy” alternatives for butter – increased the risk of diabetes by more than 40 per cent and heart problems by 30 per cent.

Researchers put it down to the unhealthy “trans fats” used in margarines from the 1970s onwards – now largely ditched by spread manufacturers.

Eating a portion of beans a day could also slash your risk of deadly heart attack or stroke, new research shows.

Beans – whether they’re dried, canned or frozen – can boost heart and metabolic health, according to scientists.

Daily portions of chickpeas and black beans could serve as a “simple, cost-effective” way to reduce the risk of chronic diseases, they said.

The new study links chickpeas to improved cholesterol levels, which blacks beans seemed to reduce inflammation.

Britain’s least popular boys’ names revealed as number of classic monikers die out – is yours one of them?

THE name Roger is so unpopular that last year just as many boys were named Wolfgang.

Only five boys in England and Wales were named Roger — as many as were given the popular German name.

The name, given to James Bond actor Moore in 1927, was the second least popular in 2024.

Surprisingly, bottom of the named tots list was Philip, given to just four, ONS figures show.

Craig was fifth most unpopular, after Tyrone but just ahead of Gareth.

Just 18 newborn boys were named Steven and 18 were called Derek.

Despite the decline of classic names, blogger SJ Strum and online shop Etsy found a quarter of adults would name their baby after a grandparent.

About four in 10 would use gender neutral names — like Stevie.

SJ Strum said: “Name trends are constantly evolving over time, and names like Phil, Roger and Craig in particular have seen a big decline in recent years.

“Now, new parents are searching for more playful and creative names that have unique meanings.”

Porsche unveils road-legal hypercar 50 years after original won world titles – but there’s a catch

PORSCHE has shocked the motoring world by unveiling a new road legal hypercar.

What’s more is that it’s spun off the a motor that’s won multiple endurance racing world titles – but there’s a catch.

Porsche has revealed a new road legal hypercar[/caption]

PA
It’s based on a trailblazing motor that won multiple endurance racing titles[/caption]

The Porsche 963 RSP is unlike anything you can currently purchase – because only one has been made.

It’s a version of the manufacturers WEC and ISMA championship winning machine.

And it’s been built to mark 50 years since Count Rossi drove the trailblazing Porsche 917 from Zuffenhausen to Paris.

Like that all-conquering motor, this one’s been made road legal.

Porsche’s North American boss Timo Resch said: “How could we reimagine the 917’s story in today’s time?

“The 917 from the story was every inch a race car – albeit one driven on the road – and we took the same approach with the 963 RSP.

“It uses beautiful materials of the best quality available, but is still every bit a race car underneath.”

The 963 features significant changes over the car on which its based.

In terms of the engine, the carmaker had to allow the 4.5-litre, twin-turbo V8 hybrid to run on regular unleaded rather than race fuel.

While not an easy undertaking, the 918 Spyder-derived V8, e-motor and battery combo delivers a whopping 671bhp.

The road height was also adjusted to make it suitable for general roads and the dampers softened.

The control unit was reprogrammed too to allow for the headlights and taillights to operate closer to those of a motor on the road.

But its the interior that departs most from the original race car.

In the entirely bespoke cabin, you’ll find soft tan leather with a single piece driver’s seat clad with additional cushioning and a fixed headrest.

You’ll find a special panel next to the driver that stores the steering wheel as well as a helmet and car aficionados will spot the nods to the 917.

The biggest tribute comes in the form of the exterior colour that’s the same ‘Martini Silver’ as Count Rossi’s 917.

This one’s been painted too, a unique challenge because of the carbon fibre and Kevlar bodywork.

The bodywork also had to be modified to cover the wheel arches, headlights and tail lights added as well as closed-off banking plates on the rear wing and mounting points for the license plates.

An enamel Porsche badge can be found on the nose and proper wet road tyres wrapped around 18 inch racing wheels.

ONE-OF-A-KIND ‘SPECIAL’ MOTOR

The 963 RSP gets its name from the involvement of American auto racing team owner Roger Searle Penske on the project.

Resch explained he called on Penske for “support” in the car’s construction, with the racing expert ensuring the classic race car’s character was not changed for the new model.

The Porsche boss said that as Penske’s involvement increased, the company realised he would be the perfect, and only, customer for the car.

So while it was never intended to be a fully road-legal 963, Porsche received an exemption from the EPA in the US as it understood “how special” the car is.

Despite this, it is not a fully road-registered car – and it needed special dispensation to run in France at the Le Mans 24hr weekend.

For now, the car is expected to remain one-of-a-kind, with a Porsche spokesperson telling Top Gear that wide-scale selling would “change the character” of the iconic motor.
