Who Can Register from 20 January 2026?
- Students who wrote their final Grade 12 exams in 2024 or earlier, and already have final acceptance, may register immediately from 20 January 2026.
Students Awaiting 2025 NSC Results (Grade 12 Class of 2025)
Students who completed matric in 2025 and are waiting for their evaluation should note the following:
Final Evaluation (Screening) Period
📅 Wednesday, 14 January 2026 – Monday, 19 January 2026
During this period:
- CPUT will verify NSC results against official Department of Basic Education records.
- Acceptance will be confirmed via automated SMS sent to the cellphone number used during your application.
- Students should frequently track their application status using the Track Application Status link on the CPUT website.
Important:
✔ Once you receive your acceptance SMS, you must register within 48 hours.
✔ Failure to register within the required time may result in your space being given to the next deserving applicant.
✔ Registration for accepted 2025 matriculants opens from 20 January 2026 onward (not before).
Returning Students (Undergraduate & Advanced Diploma)
