BopCons Bursary 2026 Overview
The BopCons Bursary Programme is aimed at financially assisting deserving students pursuing a qualification in Civil Engineering at recognised universities in South Africa. The programme is designed to develop and nurture future engineers who will contribute to the country’s infrastructure and construction industry.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered:
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between 18 and 28 years old.
- Must be studying towards a Civil Engineering qualification.
- Must be registered at a recognised and accredited South African university.
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 65%.
- Must not be receiving any other bursary or financial assistance.
- Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds.

Submit clear copies of the following supporting documents (missing documents may lead to disqualification):
- Certified copy of your South African ID
- Certified copy of your Matric certificate
- Most recent academic record
- Statement of tuition fees
- Detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Motivational letter explaining why you deserve the bursary
