NICOLA McClean and Denise Welch’s Celebrity Big Brother bust-up was one of the most explosive in the show’s colourful history.
The 13-year feud, which was initially subbed Pantsgate, was sparked when Denise played an ill-conceived drunken prank on Playboy model Karissa Shannon while she was dancing in the house.

Denise tried to pull down Karissa’s trousers, leaving the bunny upset and feeling disrespected.
Nicola intervened and challenged Denise about crossing boundaries which led to the pair clashing over their public images as well as another incident in the house in which, as part of a challenge, Nicola destroyed Denise’s letter from home in a bid to win her own.
The former glamour girl and Loose Women star still haven’t cleared the air to this day and Nicola says “the argument really impacted me.”
Recalling the row in an exclusive interview with The Sun, on behalf of WhichBingo, Nicola explains: “I said ‘that’s completely unacceptable’ and she said ‘well they do it for a living’ and I said ‘that makes no difference, I’m a Page 3 girl, does it mean you can just get my boobs out? No, it doesn’t’ and that’s what I lost my sh*t about.
“I couldn’t work out how we were saying it’s acceptable to pull down someone’s pants. Now if that was today, what do you think would have happened to Denise Welch?
“It p*ssed me off then and it still p*sses me off now that I was seen to be in the wrong. How can I be f**king wrong when you are pulling down someone’s trousers without their consent?
“So, Denise and I have never made up because she’s never apologised, and I’m a Virgo, I’m always right. I was right then and I’m right now.
“I am honestly quite a chill person you have to p*ss me off a lot for me to fly. Me and my husband don’t argue, I don’t shout at my kids, I’m not someone that thinks out an argument, so if I’ve argued with you, I probably am never going to speak to you again because I don’t argue for no reason.”
At the time, Denise told co-star Frankie Cocozza she had no apology for what she had said to Nicola, though she did regret the way in which she exploded after bottling her feelings up.
She added that she would be “happy to try and salvage my relationship with Nicola”, but there have yet to be reparations.
The Loose Woman quit alcohol just months after leaving the house and has been teetotal ever since.
Last night, ahead of the Attitude Awards she said she was “entering my second act and loving it”.
Meanwhile, Nicola went on to become one of the longest-serving CBB stars ever, racking up a total of 56 days in the house.
She returned as an All Star housemate in the 2017 series and even had a temporary stay in the civilian series later in the year, alongside Marnie Simpson and Gemma Collins.
