Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- National Diploma in:
- Civil Engineering, or
- Town Planning, or
- Building Science, or
- N5 Building, or
- Any Civil/Building-related field of study with Matric (Grade 12)
- Aged between 20 and 40 years
- Must be unemployed
- Must reside within the Beaufort West Municipal Area
- Attach SAPS Address Confirmation or a letter from your ward councillor
- Clear criminal record (SAPS)
- Valid South African ID book/card
- Must be physically fit
Shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo a written diagnostic assessment conducted by the Infrastructure Services Department: Planning, Design and Building Control. Only candidates who pass this assessment will qualify for the internship programme.

- Cover letter
- Certified copies of qualifications
- Certified copy of South African ID
- Proof of residence (SAPS confirmation or ward councillor letter)
Important:
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a stamped SAPS vetting certificate (or proof of application). Failure to submit the required documentation will result in disqualification.
