CAROL Kirkwood is leaving the BBC after more than 25 years. Carol joined the BBC in 1998 and for more than 25 years has been a familiar and much‑loved presence across the BBC’s output, most notably on BBC Breakfast, where she has presented the weather to millions of viewers every morning with warmth and professionalism.
