About the Learnership
The AVBOB & INSETA Long-Term Insurance Learnership is a structured 12-month work-based learning programme combining theoretical training with practical workplace experience. Participants will receive accredited training leading to a registered qualification in the long-term insurance field.
Learners will gain valuable industry exposure, hands-on insurance experience, and professional skills that prepare them for a successful career within the financial services and insurance sector.
Programme Benefits

Minimum Requirements
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate with the following subjects:
- English (compulsory)
- Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy or Accounting
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must not have participated in any previous learnership.
- Must not be registered with any academic institution or engaged in other studies.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Computer literacy (MS Office, email, and internet) will be an advantage.
- Must be able to work independently and show initiative.
- Must be a South African citizen.
