Strictly viewers slam ‘traumatising’ pro routine for making them feel ‘ill’ during Movie Week results show

STRICTLY viewers have slammed “traumatising” pro routine for making them feel “ill” during the Movie Week results show.

The professionals took to the floor for their usual dance routine but tonight’s performance didn’t go down well with those at home.

During the results show, Claudia introduced the dance and said: “Now it is time for this week’s group number which includes something called Steve’s Lava Chicken.

“Please welcome our professional dancers.”

The routine was based around the popular Mine Craft movie and some of the pros wore blocks on their head and were dressed as characters in the film.

It was certainly a colourful, fast moving scene – but viewers slammed the routine.

Taking to social media one wrote: “Doing a Minecraft dance is traumatising me.”

Another said: “What is happening? I feel ill!.”

While a third added: “It’s like a bad meth trip.”

“That group dance was…urm…interesting,” added another.

And another fan said: “Please can we sack the person who approved that Minecraft group dance.”

Meanwhile, Ross King and Jowita Przystał found themselves in the dance off against Balvinder Sopal and Julian Caillon.

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts:

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Balvinder and Julian. Motsi Mabuse chose to save Balvinder and Julian. Anton Du Beke chose to save Balvinder and Julian.

Head Judge Shirley Ballas – who this week was the judge with the casting vote – said that she would also have chosen to save Balvinder and Julian, should she have been required to vote.

Sadly, this meant Ross and Jowita had to leave the show.

When asked by Tess Daly about their time on the show, a tearful Ross King said: “I have loved every single minute of it.

“I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us, all the people who voted – they’ve been amazing.

“I want to thank everyone here in this room, backstage, the judges, the crew – every single person here has made me so, so welcome.

“And, I want to thank a very special lady who has been with me through it all and has been absolutely everything: she’s been a mentor, teacher, carer…

“I could not have wished for a better partner, and I could not have wished to be on a better show. Thank you judges for all your remarks.”

Jude Bellingham gets over England World Cup qualifiers snub and Real calendar mystery by feeding giraffes at Madrid zoo

JUDE BELLINGHAM moved on from his England snub by visiting a Madrid zoo with friends as he fed giraffes and faced off with tigers.

The Real Madrid star has been having some time off during the international break after being left out of Thomas Tuchel‘s Three Lions squad.

It has been a difficult time for the 22-year-old, who is building up his fitness after returning from a shoulder injury last month.

And he has also been hit by news that he won’t be included in the 2026 Real Madrid calendar, despite being present in this year’s edition.

The former Borussia Dortmund star instead brushed off the recent setbacks by enjoying a day out with pals at the local zoo, Safari Madrid, in the Spanish capital.

Bellingham shared a story with his 40million Instagram followers showing him feeding a branch to giraffes with a friend.

He captioned the story: “What an experience!” and tagged the official Safari Madrid page.

Bellingham’s friend also posted a picture from their day out as he shared a photo of the pair peering through a cage where two tigers were staring back at them.

The player will now be turning his attention to resuming LaLiga duties ahead of Madrid’s next game away at Getafe on October 19.

Bellingham has only started one game since returning from injury, which came in a shock 5-2 defeat to rivals Atletico Madrid on September 27.

In the following two games – a 5-0 win over Kairat and a 3-1 victory over Villarreal – he came on as a substitute.

SunSport reported this week how Bellingham was dumped from the 2026 calendar, a bizarre move that will set tongues wagging about his future.

However, manager Xabi Alonso insisted he “needed” Bellingham’s quality when asked about the fitness of the midfielder last month.

He said: “I need his flexibility and versatility. Some players are more static, and Jude is not one of them.”

And his international manager Tuchel was also forced to reaffirm how highly he rated Bellingham after leaving him out of his England squad for games against Wales and Latvia.

The German said: “Jude is a very special player and for special players there can be special rules but for this camp, we thought to stick with our decision to stick with the same team.

“There is an extra layer in that he has not fully gathered rhythm and has not finished a full match until now and has only started one match.

“Do I believe we’re a stronger team with Jude? Yes. Is he one of the best players in the world in midfield? Yes.

“But what are we doing if a player like Jude is injured before the World Cup? Do we not travel?”

5 ways to keep your house warm in winter

Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.

1. Curtains

“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.

This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.

2. Rugs

“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.

“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”

3. Check your insulation

Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.

“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.

4. Keep your internal doors closed

“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.

“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”

5. Block drafts

Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.
