Who is Harry Cooksley?

Harry Cooksley is a semi-professional footballer, gold trader and model who hails from Guildford, Surrey.

He is 30 years old — making him the oldest contestant hoping to find romance on Love Island 2025.

As of June 9, 2025, Harry’s Instagram already boasts over 12k followers — but that number is sure to skyrocket during his time on Love Island.

He regularly posts shirtless selfies, as well as pics of himself playing football — there’s even a photo of Harry alongside Declan Rice.

Harry also works as the England and Arsenal midfielder‘s body double.

He explained: “So, when he does a shoot, any body close-ups will actually be me.

“You’ll never see my face, but you’ll see my shoulder or chest, that kind of thing.”

A source exclusively told The Sun: “Harry’s got the full package — a great, athletic bod and great chat.

“Love Island’s ladies love a footballer and the Surrey Zidane will be sure to impress as he plays away.”

What team does Harry Cooksley play for?

Harry plays for Farnham Town in the South Central Division.

He is known as The Surrey Zidane by fans of the side.

In a TikTok video shot way before he was announced as part of the lineup for 2025, the team’s players and staff were asked: “Who’s most likely in the squad to go on Love Island?”

Without missing a beat, manager Paul Johnson replied: “Harry Cooksley. All day long.”

One of his teammates added: “Harry Cooksley, probably… if he didn’t have a missus.”

Harry joined Farnham Town in the summer of 2023 after spending some time with both AFC Wimbledon and Farnborough.

The midfielder is reportedly known for his wild goal celebrations.

When is Harry Cooksley joining Love Island 2025?

Premiering at 9pm on Monday, June 9, 2025, Harry is part of the starting lineup for the show’s 12th season.

Instead of joining the show later on as a bombshell, he’s one of the initial batch of Islanders entering the villa at the very start of the series.

In preparation for Love Island 2025, host Maya Jama flew out to Mallorca on May 26, 2025.

She shared videos of herself dancing on Instagram, along with the caption: “On holiday until I start Love Island.”

Departures:

  • Kyle Ashman: Axed after an arrest over a machete attack emerged. He was released with no further action taken and denies any wrongdoing.

Maya spilled the beans on the latest series of the show to her TikTok followers, saying: “Do I even know who the Islanders are?

“Do I know what time and date I’m flying to Mallorca? No, but guess what?

“We are so back. We are so f***ing back. I’m really excited, guys. The sun is out!”

She added: “Summer Love Island‘s about to happen.”

In the trailer for Love Island 2025, Maya said she wants more ‘twists and turns’ in this year’s installment.

She said: “This year Love Island needs something bigger, something bolder, I want ideas.

“This year I want more drama, more bombshells, more break-ups, more makeups.

“I want more twists, I want more twists than ever.”

KATIE Price has been cruelly slammed by mum-shaming trolls.

The former glamour model, 47, came under fire after she posted a sweet snap with son Harvey, 22, at home

It came after Katie shared a picture of her and Harvey doing some baking.

In the photo the mother and son are posing in the kitchen, with a packet of cake mix in view.

Katie captioned the shot with: “Baking with Harvey 🍰 carrot cake for all the family today.”

While the majority of comments were kind, there were some trolls who used the picture to mum-shame her.

One wrote: “Thought you were really worried about Harvey’s weight!!! And you make a cake?!”

While another added: “Bake it from scratch Katie. You can make one much healthier than from that cake mix, and use real butter not spread.”

This one said: “Wouldn’t it have been healthier for Harvey if you’d made it from scratch.”

Another chimed in: “You moan about his weight but feed him cake.”

HARVEY’S WEIGHT JOURNEY

Meanwhile, last week Katie gave her fans an update on Harvey’s weight loss journey.

She has been worried about her son’s health after his weight reached 30st.

But now she has revealed they have looked at weight loss jabs to help him.

Speaking on the latest episode of her The Katie Price Show podcast, she said: “Hopefully Harvey starts his Mounjaro this week, but we’ll talk about that next week and I’ll go through all of what’s happening about that.”

The mum-of-five previously opened up on how Harvey’s life was at risk because of his size.

The TV personality’s eldest child has Prader-Willi syndrome, which sparks a constant desire to eat food and a permanent feeling of hunger which leads to obesity.

Katie is hoping to get Harvey on weight loss jabs[/caption]

Harvey battles a series of debilitating conditions including autism, septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder.

In a video posted in April, Katie revealed: “I’m so heartbroken and gutted that his weight is just going up.

“I just googled it in stones, 188kg is just a few kg of being 30 stone.

“It’s so life-threatening now, I’m still waiting for the doctors to get back to me starting on the Mounjaro and his journey to a healthy life.”

She continued:  “It’s so sad his quality of life at the moment where he’s so big, he just can’t really do much.

“It’s just another thing I have to deal with because he’s at high risk of having a heart attack, he struggles to put his trainers or struggles to walk anywhere but I love him and I’m going to help him through this.

“So sad, obesity and his condition is sad, it’s sad to see someone go through it and he doesn’t understand.”

In February Katie told The Sun she consulted top doctors who suggested starting Harvey on the jabs in a bid to improve his chances of living longer.

Harvey’s biological dad is former footballer Dwight, 53, dated for a short period between 2000 and 2001, but split shortly after Katie told him she was pregnant.

Everything you need to know about fat jabs

Weight loss jabs are all the rage as studies and patient stories reveal they help people shed flab at almost unbelievable rates, as well as appearing to reduce the risk of serious diseases.

Wegovy – a modified version of type 2 diabetes drug Ozempic – and Mounjaro are the leading weight loss injections used in the UK.

Wegovy, real name semaglutide, has been used on the NHS for years while Mounjaro (tirzepatide) is a newer and more powerful addition to the market.

Mounjaro accounts for most private prescriptions for weight loss and is set to join Wegovy as an NHS staple this year.

How do they work?

The jabs work by suppressing your appetite, making you eat less so your body burns fat for energy instead and you lose weight.

They do this my mimicking a hormone called GLP-1, which signals to the brain when the stomach is full, so the drugs are officially called GLP-1 receptor agonists.

They slow down digestion and increase insulin production, lowering blood sugar, which is why they were first developed to treat type 2 diabetes in which patients’ sugar levels are too high.

Can I get them?

NHS prescriptions of weight loss drugs, mainly Wegovy and an older version called Saxenda (chemical name liraglutide), are controlled through specialist weight loss clinics.

Typically a patient will have to have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher, classifying them as medically obese, and also have a weight-related health condition such as high blood pressure.

GPs generally do not prescribe the drugs for weight loss.

Private prescribers offer the jabs, most commonly Mounjaro, to anyone who is obese (BMI of 30+) or overweight (BMI 25-30) with a weight-related health risk.

Private pharmacies have been rapped for handing them out too easily and video calls or face-to-face appointments are now mandatory to check a patient is being truthful about their size and health.

Are there any risks?

Yes – side effects are common but most are relatively mild.

Around half of people taking the drug experience gut issues, including sickness, bloating, acid reflux, constipation and diarrhoea.

Dr Sarah Jarvis, GP and clinical consultant at patient.info, said: “One of the more uncommon side effects is severe acute pancreatitis, which is extremely painful and happens to one in 500 people.”

Other uncommon side effects include altered taste, kidney problems, allergic reactions, gallbladder problems and hypoglycemia.

Evidence has so far been inconclusive about whether the injections are damaging to patients’ mental health.

Figures obtained by The Sun show that, up to January 2025, 85 patient deaths in the UK were suspected to be linked to the medicines.

Erik ten Hag tried to STOP Man Utd signing Antony but club ‘pushed £86million transfer through at all costs’

ERIK TEN HAG tried to block Manchester United from signing mega-money flop Antony, according to a sensational claim.

Antony, 25, joined the Red Devils in 2022 for £85.5million in Ten Hag‘s first summer at the club to follow the manager directly from Ajax.

The claim says Man Utd ‘pushed through the deal at all costs’[/caption]

The Old Trafford outfit originally did not want to pay as much for the star.

However, according to widespread reports, Man Utd only pushed ahead with the deal after being encouraged by Ten Hag to complete it when he lost his first two games in charge.

Then Man Utd chief John Murtough submitted three bids to take Antony from the Dutch giants, which was eventually accepted.

And after a bright start, Antony failed to live up to his billing and quickly became a scapegoat for Ten Hag’s failings as a Man Utd boss.

The Brazilian eventually lost his place in the starting XI in his second season before he was sent out on loan to Real Betis halfway through his third season with Man Utd.

Ten Hag now manages Bayer Leverkusen and has been linked with the winger once again.

But in a stunning claim from Kees Vos, co-founder of Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) who are Ten Hag’s agency, he says Ten Hag actually tried to BLOCK the move, with Man Utd being the ones wanting to “push it through at all costs”.

Writing in the book, Liverpool and the Dutch, Vos claims: “Ten Hag and Vos were not in favour of this and wanted to stop the transfer.

BEST ONLINE CASINOS – TOP SITES IN THE UK

“But the club wanted to push through at all costs, because Arsenal was also interested in Antony.

“The risk of a stronger competitor would be great. Ultimately, Manchester United paid almost 100 million euros for Antony.

“Although Ten Hag did not support this transfer, it stuck with him throughout his entire time in Manchester that he took over the attacker from Ajax for this ill-fated amount, who was never able to fulfil his promise.”

Overall, Antony scored just 12 goals and added five assists in 96 games for the Red Devils and was often ridiculed for his flagrant skills which often yielded no end product.

His loan at La Liga club Betis reminded people of skills as he contributed to 14 goals in 26 games.

Man Utd chiefs are reportedly willing to take a hit worth more than half of what they originally paid in order to get him off the books, with a figure of around £40m being reported.

SunSport have also revealed how Ten Hag’s Bayer are considering a move for Jack Grealish after he was told his Manchester City career is over.

She captioned the snaps: “Happy days in May”.

Izzi showed off her incredible slimming figure and glam makeup looks with laminated brows, full eyelashes and beaming white teeth.

Her blonde hair was styled in flattering natural waves, and she oozed luxury with her stylish designer outfits and trendy co-ords.

Fans were stunned to see the blonde beauty out of her casual loungewear and off the sofa.

They flooded the comment section gushing over the star with one saying: “You look amazing Izzy!”

Another added: “Wow. You look fantastic!”

A third penned: “Stunning!”

This comes after Izzi spoke about her new man, Toby Joyce , during a Gogglebox episode where she read out the Valentine’s Day card he had sent her.

Speaking to her sister Ellie, Izzi said: “Wait till you see what Toby got me for Valentine’s – a card in a box!”

She read: “To Izzi, our first of many. Thank you for being the absolute best. I bloody adore you. Happy Valentine’s Day I love you loads and lots more. Toby’.”

While her sister Ellie joked that the letter was “cringe”, fans of the pair have shared their delight over Izzi’s new romance, following her split from ex-partner Grant.

Izzi and Grant were together for 10 years and have two children together; Bobby, 10 and Bessie Rose, four.

It was revealed that she had split from her long-term partner in October 2024.

Izzi has shared pictures with her new boyfriend Toby on social media since January, after posting snaps from the pair’s trip to Paris.

She then revealed her boyfriend has joined the British Army.

Izzi shared a selfie with Toby and appeared to be bursting with pride.

Toby looked dapper as he smiled in the snaps at his swearing-in ceremony at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Grand Designs eyesore next door is ‘glorified GREENHOUSE’ left to rot

A CONTROVERSIAL Grand Designs project that left neighbours living under scaffolding for five years has still never been lived in.

The dramatic glass-fronted clifftop mansion in Flamborough, East Yorkshire, has been dubbed a “glorified greenhouse” by fed-up locals.

Modern house with large glass windows, next to a smaller traditional house.
NB PRESS LTD
The coastal mansion was branded ‘absolute rubbish’ by one neighbour[/caption]

The £550,000 property was built by millionaire shopping centre tycoon Zahid Iqbal, 61, and his wife Ferzana, 57, and was hailed “breathtaking” by Kevin McCloud when it aired on the Channel 4 show last year.

What began as a 10-month project in 2019 to transform a derelict coastguard’s tower into a sleek, modern retreat with sweeping views of the North Sea has dragged on for half a decade.

The glass-walled home near Flamborough Head has been plagued by planning disputes, delays, and a catalogue of construction blunders—from ill-fitting glass panels to missed emails about vital bird-proofing.

For much of that time, neighbouring cottages were overshadowed by towering scaffolding.

Now, nearly a year after the Grand Designs episode aired, the property remains unoccupied, and speculation is growing locally that the house may soon be up for sale.

One of the most affected neighbours, 83-year-old Vic Crosthwaite, shares a party wall with the ultra-modern structure and became a sympathetic figure for viewers after his home was dwarfed by the build.

“We understood they would be moving in—but there’s been no sign of them,” he said.

“I’ve seen them once, going for a coffee, and that was it. There’s talk they’ll sell it, but it’s just sat empty.”

Mr Crosthwaite added that the building still feels unfinished and that promised privacy measures, such as tinted windows overlooking his patio and bedroom, were never put in place.

“You can practically see into my bedroom from their staircase,” he said.

The Iqbals, who purchased the site at auction for £175,000, reportedly invested around £375,000 into the build. The project was nearly derailed when a planning officer halted work, citing that the original coastguard structure—apart from one wall—had been entirely demolished, contrary to the approved conversion plans.

A revised application was later granted, allowing the family to continue.

However, bad weather, the pandemic, and the departure of their son Yusuf—who had been leading the project—further slowed progress.

Guy Raynor-Edwards, 63, said: “It’s just sat there. No one comes or goes. It feels like it was built just to show off.”

Another neighbour, 80-year-old Lee Dell, didn’t hold back: “It’s a glorified greenhouse. Absolute rubbish.

“There are doors on the upper floors with no balconies—someone could walk out and fall straight onto the golf course.

“Somebody ought to knock it down.”

Concerns also remain about whether the property complies with building regulations.

Neighbours have pointed out potential safety issues, including external doors with no balconies and a staircase missing a balustrade.

A resident who gave her name only as Jen added: “It’s architecturally impressive, sure, but completely in the wrong place.

“If it were ten miles down the road with no neighbours, it might have worked. But not here, not in a historic village.”

Mr Iqbal previously defended the build, describing it as “a place for the family” and “the first Grand Designs that’s a second home.”

Speaking last year, he told the Yorkshire Post: “It’s not about the building—it’s about the views. I wanted to build something that creates discussion.”

Visitors to the area still stop to peer at the house made famous by TV.

Nigel and Sue Lenton, holidaying from Somerset, admired the design but expressed disappointment that it remains unused.

“It’s such a shame no one’s living in it,” said Sue, 76. “Given how much it must have cost, it just feels like a bit of a white elephant.”

Love Island star opens up about romance with glam girlfriend for the first time and reveals he’s returned to normal job

HIS failure to find love in the villa last summer proved to be a blessing in disguise.

Just seven months after being dumped from the ITV show on day 10, Munveer Jabbal announced he was in a relationship with his stunning girlfriend Maddie.

The couple went official in December and are still smitten[/caption]

Now, the 31-year-old Surrey lad has spoken about their relationship for the first time in an exclusive interview with The Sun.

“I did go on a few dates post Love Island,” said Munveer. “I quickly realised that these aren’t the type of girls that I want to be with long term. I eventually met my current girlfriend.

“I found a lot of good qualities. We shared the same values and morals and that kind of stuff. Comes from good stock, good family. It just felt right.

“Even though I wasn’t expecting to jump into something, that connection felt genuine when I compare it to the other initial dates that I went on.”

Like many modern day love stories, Munveer and Maddie got to know each other through Instagram.

She sent him a request and Munveer wasted no time sliding into her DMs.

Sparks quickly flew but both parties approached the hard launch with caution.

It wasn’t until December that the private pair went Instagram official, and the joint posts since have been few and far between.

Slowing things down went against Munveer’s natural instincts.

He admits: “To be honest with you, I fall in love so quickly.

“I’ve always been like that. When I’m set on someone, I’m like 100 miles per hour. I think that’s my kryptonite, my downfall.”

Unlike many villa romances, Munveer and Maddie aren’t rushing to move in together even though they already spend plenty of time with one another.

“We definitely talk about those things,” says Munveer.

“It’s probably a bit too soon. There’s been where she comes and doesn’t leave for two or three weeks. The flat is literally upside down, which is always fun.

“But I think long-term, you look at your potential partner and you want those things. To be able to live together, buy a house together, all the rest of it. I wouldn’t go into something lightly without knowing these things.”

Before the pair settle down, there’s triple dates to be had with Munveer’s villa pals Sam Tyalor and Hugo Godfroy, both of whom are in relationships.

He was found himself in a friend couple with Patsy Field[/caption]

“I was talking on WhatsApp and we’re going to plan a little triple date in London at some point, which would be nice,” says Munveer.

“And then Sam’s getting ahead of himself saying, ‘yeah, let’s book a holiday and do this, do that’.

“Let’s get the girls connected over a dinner and then we can start thinking about that kind of stuff. They’re both taken and, from what I know, really happy.”

He then joked: “I think Hugo’s a little bit under the thumb. He’s gone a bit quiet. He was really active on the WhatsApp group. As soon as he gets his missus, he’s just gone non-existent. Which is fair enough, he’s in the honeymoon period. But both the boys are doing really well and they look like they’re loved up.”

In a series that was dominated by Joey Essex‘s surprise arrival, Munveer’s screen time was limited.

He doesn’t hold a grudge against the former Towie star though, acknowledging it was out of his control.

He simply accepts that there wasn’t a girl there for him during his short time in Majorca.

“They show you what you want to see and they create this narrative,” he says. “But it’s really hard to just wake up and fancy someone. Believe it or not, I don’t care what you say, everyone has a type.

“You can’t force that. Yes, you’re on reality TV. Yes, you’re on Love Island but sometimes it just doesn’t feel that genuine, and I was never going to break character or just do things for the sake of it.

“That’s why I was super upfront with Patsy [Field]. I felt like me and Patsy connected really well on a friend level. It could have gone somewhere deeper in terms of connection, personality and that type of stuff.

“But I just knew a part of me, there was something missing. I think that wasn’t really shown because who wants to see that?”

Not long after the show, Munveer returned to his work in recruitment, specifically the tech sector, which he now has a decade of experience in.

But having had a taste of the Love Island life, he’s craving more time in the public eye.

“I’ve had a taste for it now and I feel like where I had it just taken away from me ever so quickly,” he says. “I feel like I’ve got so much more to offer. I loved it. So if there’s more opportunities out there, like your Made In Chelsea, The Traitors or wherever it is, I’m definitely up for it.”

According to Deadline, Bertie Carvel has been tapped to play Cornelius Fudge, the Minister for Magic.

He is reportedly set for a recurring role in the highly anticipated show.

The late actor Robert Hardy portrayed Fudge in four Harry Potter films.

HBO declined to confirm Bertie’s involvement, with a spokesperson saying “such a high-profile series will draw a lot of rumour and speculation” as well as “we will only confirm details as we finalise deals”.

He would join Dominic McLaughlin, Arabella Stanton and Alastair Stout – who have been cast as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

The confirmed adult cast includes John Lithgow as Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Snape and Nick Frost as Hagrid.

Rounding out the announced names are Luke Thallon as Quirrell and Paul Whitehouse as Filch.

Bertie, 47, currently plays the title role in Dalgleish, based on PD James’ Adam Dalgleish novels.

Set in the 1970s, the premise follows recent widower DCI Dalgleish investigating complex crimes.

He is a two-time Olivier Award winner for his performance as Ms Trunchbull in Matilda: The Musical and Rupert Murdoch in Ink, respectively.

No stranger to playing politicians, Bertie recently starred as Tony Blair in The Crown.

Following a supporting role in season five, he became a main cast member for the sixth and final season.

The casting of the Harry Potter TV show’s three young leads was officially announced last month.

Showrunner/executive producer Francesca Gardiner and executive producer/director Mark Mylod said: “After an extraordinary search led by casting directors Lucy Bevan and Emily Brockmann, we are delighted to announce we have found our Harry, Hermione and Ron.

“The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together on-screen.”

They added: “We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned.

“It’s been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there.”

How to spot a rare Harry Potter book

AS JK Rowling’s popularity has rocketed, so has the value of the first edition of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.

If you think you might have one, then first look to see if Bloomsbury is listed as the publisher on the title page at the bottom.

The copy should be a first edition – which will be noted within the first few pages.

The latest date listed in the copyright information must by 1997.

It should be credited to “Joanne Rowling” and not “J.K Rowling” and carry a print line that reads ” 1 0 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1″ on the copyright page.

There is a mistake on page 53 where “1 wand” appears twice in the list of school supplies Harry receives from Hogwarts, which was corrected in later print runs.

For the other titles in the Harry Potter series, it is only the first hardback editions with the dust jacket that have any collectable value.

Nigel Farage ready for ‘fight’ as he vows to defy Labour’s net zero orders and open new coal mines in Wales

NIGEL Farage today vowed to defy Labour’s Net Zero orders and open new coal mines in Wales.

The Reform chief declared he’s ready to “fight” Sir Keir Starmer to achieve his “ambition to re-industrialise” the country, if he wins power in the Senedd next year.

The campaign kicked off in the industrial town of Port Talbot[/caption]

In Port Talbot, Mr Farage said he wants to revive the town’s steel blast furnaces and use fuel from new coal mines to power them.

Net Zero zealot Ed Miliband announced a ban on new coal mining licenses in November last year.

But firing the starting gun on Reform’s 11-month campaign for the Welsh parliament, Mr Farage argued that Labour’s Westminster government wouldn’t stop him in Cardiff.

The chief Brexiteer said: “We can always have a fight, can’t we?

“We can always have a fight and who knows, there may be situations where we just do things.

“We will have to cross that bridge when we come to it.”

In a bid to woo the Welsh and outflank Sir Keir from the traditional left, Mr Farage argued there are “specific types of coal for certain uses that we still need in this country”.

The Reform leader blasted Labour for turning their nose up at local industry while continuing to import steel from abroad.

Mr Farage insisted his party can win the Senedd elections in May 2026 because Labour are “really are failing in Wales”.

Having been in control of the Welsh parliament since its 1999 inception, the Reform boss said Sir Keir’s party has “nowhere to hide”.

YouGov’s most recent polling of the Senedd, from last month, puts nationalist Plaid Cymru on 30 per cent, with Reform five points behind on 25.

Meanwhile, Labour has slumped to just 18 per cent, with only 40 per cent of those who voted for Sir Keir looking to do the same again.

Mr Farage said his party is “rapidly” growing in Wales – but is still a “work in progress” and doesn’t yet have a candidate for the top job of First Minister.

The party leader added: “Figures will emerge over the course of the next few months who through merit will no doubt be in a position where they can qualify to be our lead member.

“We are not at that point of evolution just yet.”

Carson, 39, collected nine honours during his time at the club, including four Premier League titles.

The former Derby and Liverpool ace was well respected at the Etihad for his efforts behind the scenes.

The four-time England international has been hailed as a “valued part” of the club’s goalkeeping unit.

Carson put in plenty of effort to help the likes of Stefan Ortega and Ederson.

He has now left, but has not gone with empty pockets, having earned around £8.5million in wages.

The staggering earnings become even more eye-watering as he only made three saves during his 107 minutes of action.

This means each stop cost the Cityzens roughly £2.8m.

Carson made two appearances for the Citizens with one coming in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.

“We would like to thank Scott for his hard work and dedication and wish him the very best of luck for the future.”
