CELEBRITY Traitors fans have been left outraged after the show was left on a massive cliffhanger – and have to wait a WEEK to find out who was banished.
The new series – and first featuring celebrities – started on Wednesday night and was immediately a huge hit with viewers.

BBCPaloma Faith was the first celebrity to be murdered[/caption]
The trio were then tasked with carrying out their first murder in plain sight, and Alan drew the short straw of touching the face of the celebrity they wanted to bump off.
Tonight it was revealed that he had chosen his friend Paloma Faith, but it was a slow death and she didn’t find out she had been murdered until the next day at her funeral.
The rest of the celebrities were left shell-shocked by the outcome, and it immediately sparked more suspicion among them of who could be a Traitor.
It led to a tense first round table, where Kate Garraway, Niko Omilana and Tameka Empson came under fire from the others.
The voting then started and at one point, Claudia tallied up that Kate and Niko had three votes each, while Tameka had two and Tom Daley had one.
Claudia then turned to Stephen Fry and asked for his vote, before the episode ended on a cliffhanger.
It left viewers raging that they had to wait to find out who would be the first celebrity to be banished, and even more furious when they realised it wouldn’t be in 24 hours time.
That’s because Celebrity Traitors won’t be back on screens until Wednesday next week.
Taking to X, one wrote: “A nation swears at the television as episode 2 of Celebrity Traitors ended on that cliffhanger!”
Another added: “THAT CLIFFHANGER NOOOOO.”
A third tweeted: “This is sensational tv. But leaving it on a banishment cliffhanger?”

Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One and is available on BBC iPlayer.

THREE of five Met cops arrested on suspicion of covering up a sex assault are Freemasons, The Sun can reveal.
Masonic links between a detective sergeant accused of molesting a female colleague and two other cops alleged to have suppressed the case are being probed.
Getty - ContributorA police source has said: ‘There is no evidence that their Masonic links had anything to do with what is said to have happened’[/caption]
The female PC had made a complaint about the Christmas party incident and later demanded to know why no action had been taken against the officer she alleges attacked her.
It is understood her case was later dismissed altogether by a local professional standards unit.
One source said: “There is no evidence that their Masonic links had anything to do with what is said to have happened.
“But the fact that three of the five officers are Freemasons could arguably give rise to a perception that favours were being done.
“The Masonic links are being investigated as part of the inquiry to see if it has had any bearing on the case.”
The Sun previously revealed five senior North WestLondon detectives were arrested in August.
They were all bailed. It is understood they vehemently deny wrongdoing.
The Met declined to comment.
Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley last week told how his force is “hardening our policies such as bringing membership of secret societies into the light.”
His comment alluding to Freemasonry was made in a statement issued over the Charing Cross police station scandal in which an undercover BBC reporter recorded cops making vile remarks.
