There are many things you can do to keep yourself warm without turning on the heating, from wearing extra layers, to wrapping yourself up in a blanket.

B&M has now launched a whole range of items to help you stay cosy without tweaking the thermostat.

The Winter Warm Range is designed to help you keep toasty in the chilly months, with prices starting at just £4.

B&M are offering up everything from hot water bottles to hand warmers at bargain prices.

Starting at just £4 the bargain retailer is offering fluffy hand warmers and heatsaver socks, designed to keep your hands and feet warm.

For slightly higher prices you can nab gloves, hats, hot water bottles and faux fur throws.

On top of all of that the store is offering up fan heaters for less than £20.

And, for less than £30 you could get your hands on a convector heater, perfect for warming up cold homes.

One of the most expensive, but cosiest, items offered in the range is the heated throw blanket.

For just £35 the blanket comes with a built in electric warmer to boost your comfort in the cold.

The Winter Warm Range is already up for grabs in stores and online.

The store said: “Chilly days are no match for B&M’s winter warmers! Whether you’re snuggling under a soft throw, slipping into thermal wear, or turning up the heat with our handy heaters, you’ll find warmth and comfort for less at B&M!

“And with prices starting from just £4, there is no better time to get winter ready!”

Shoppers hoping to get their hands on the items can purchase them online or in store.

B&M offers a handy tool to find your nearest store online so you can see where the nearest place you can bag a bargain on winter items is.

B&M is a discount retailer, operating more than 760 high street and out of town stores across the UK.

The retailer also operates shops under the B&M brand in France.

5 ways to keep your house warm in winter

Property expert Joshua Houston shared his tips.

1. Curtains

“Windows are a common place for the outside cold to get into your home, this is because of small gaps that can let in air so always close your curtains as soon as it gets dark,” he said.

This simple method gives you an extra layer of warmth as it can provide a kind of “insulation” between your window and curtain.

2. Rugs

“Your floor is another area of your home where heat can be lost and can make your home feel chilly,” he continued. “You might notice on cold days, that your floor is not nice to walk on due to it freezing your feet.

“Add rugs to areas that don’t already have a carpet, this provides a layer of insulation between your bare floor and the room above.”

3. Check your insulation

Check your pipes, loft space, crawlspaces and underneath floorboards.

“Loose-fill insulation is very good for this, and is a more affordable type of insulation, with a big bag being able to be picked up for around £30,” Joshua explained.

4. Keep your internal doors closed

“Household members often gather in one room in the evening, and this is usually either the kitchen or living room,” Joshua said.

“This means you only have to heat a small area of your home, and closing the doors keeps the heat in and the cold out.”

5. Block drafts

Don’t forget to check cat flaps, chimneys and letterboxes, as they can let in cold air if they aren’t secure.
