LEAKED pictures spotted on Donald Trump’s desk hint that the President is set to launch his most ambitious monument yet.
Donald Trump, 79, is no stranger to grand designs – but leaked images from the Oval Office suggest he may be plotting one of the biggest building projects so far.
A mock-up of a towering triumphal arch was spotted sitting on the Resolute Desk as the president met Finnish leader Alex Stubb on Thursday.
The images, which have been circulating online, show miniature models arranged on a map.
The arch is positioned on a traffic circle near Arlington Cemetery, just across the Potomac River from the Lincoln Memorial.
A second, larger model on the desk revealed striking details: a winged golden angel holding a torch above, flanked by two white eagles.
The design has a strong resemblance to Paris’s Arch de Triomphe, commissioned by Napoleon in the 19th century to honour fallen soldiers from his military campaigns.
The design is similar to a drawing shared by Nicholas Leo Charbonneau, who works at the architecture firm Harrison Design.
Nicholas added fuel to the fire by posting a striking drawing of the arch on social media – showing it planted in the exact same traffic circle outside Arlington National Cemetery, complete with the eagle and angel statues perched on top.
The image has sparked fresh speculation over whether Trump’s grand monument plans are already in motion.
It remains unclear if Harrison Design, a firm Charbonneau has worked with before, is involved in drafting any official blueprints.
Sharing the image online, Charbonneau declared: “A proposal for a triumphal arch in DC for #America250, in the traffic circle in front of Arlington National Cemetery.”He added: “America needs a triumphal arch!” – a statement that’s sent Trump-watchers into overdrive.
The White House has not responded to requests for comment.
But the “Donald Trump for President” Facebook page. which has more than six million followers, posted a drawing in September which matches the design almost exactly.
Trump – a former real estate mogul – who reclaimed power in January – has thrown himself into a flurry of building and renovation projects since returning to the White House.
He has decked the Oval Office in gold, covering the walls with fancy paintings and luxury ornaments.
During one meeting, he even paused proceedings to talk about his redesign if the Cabinet room – spending several minutes praising the drapes.
He also constructing a massive ballroom next to the White House.
A model of the ballroom appeared on Trump’s desk with a photo shared by deputy chief staff Dan Scavino on Wednesday.
In recent months, Trump has revamped parts of the White House to mirror his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
The rose garden has been paved over, fitted with picnic tables and bright yellow and white umbrellas.
At the end of August, the Republican leader signed an executive order to promote “classical” architecture, taking inspiration from ancient Rome and Greece.
He has also made clear his ambition to create permanent monuments to American power and military victories.
If built, the huge arch would stand as a symbol of Trump’s vision for America’s 250th birthday – a bold new landmark on the Washington skyline.
A MUM-OF-SIX has lifted the lid on what it’s really like re-joining the school scene after a almost two decades and she’s not impressed with the “new breed” of mums running the show.
Carla Hoskins, who had her first child at 18 and her youngest ten years later, has gone viral on TikTok after ranting about how school life has completely changed – and not for the better.
In the hilarious clip, Carla confessed she had a ten-year gap between her third and fourth child because, as she bluntly put it, she needed to “switch up baby daddies”.
Now, with her youngest, Rome, just starting reception, she says she’s found herself completely out of sync with modern-day school mums.
Carla told her followers: “The class WhatsApp groups – do you know? Well in his school anyway, no one sends out party invites.”
The TikTok star admitted she made the mistake of declining to join the class group chat at first, only to later find out she’d missed loads of invites.
At first she thought the parents were “just being rude” until she realised it’s because parents simply post a single invite on the WhatsApp groups she declined to be in.
She fumed: “What the f**k? Why does no one print sh*t out anymore or tell you?”
Carla said she’s baffled by how hyper-organised and over-sharing the new generation of school mums are, calling them “next level”.
And while she’s finally joined the group, she’s not exactly thrilled about it.
She says she keeps it on mute and only checks it once a week for any party invites.
Carla said she was stunned when she checked the chat before the school holidays and saw mums chatting about what time their kids went to bed that night.
She joked saying that she didn’t “give a f****ing sh*t”, nor does she want to know “the ins and outs of their a*hole”.
The brutally honest video has hit a nerve with parents online, racking up thousands of views and sparking debate among mums who either love or loathe the endless stream of school WhatsApp messages.
Many agreed with Carla’s no-nonsense approach, while others admitted they rely on the group chats to keep up with the chaos of modern school life.
One mum related to Carla’s party invite shenanigans, saying: “Yup, the party venue change was in the WhatsApp group. I had no idea it existed. Child in tears because we couldn’t find the party.”
Another added: “I reluctantly joined one; it’s muted and archived 24/7.”
A third said: “I learnt a lot about school mums when my eldest started school, I vowed never to join a WhatsApp group.”
But not all mums oppose the school WhatsApp group.
One mum said: “I need the group so I can get the key info. Otherwise I’d have to give up my job so I could read all the emails the school sends.”
Another added: “I am the type B parent that puts a message in the WhatsApp group saying “is it PE today”, it’s like having a school PA with the organised mums.”
Meanwhile, a mum has been criticised after slating a certain type of mum on the school runs.
She came under fire after sharing her her hot take on how parents should come to the school for drop-offs.
Elsewhere, a fuming mum took to social media to share her frustration at “Queen Bee” parents on the school run, who she said can’t stop talking about her.
Known as @thewoodys6 on social media, the mum revealed that she had confronted one mum in particular who was an “ar***hole”, to her.

RICKY Hatton’s devastated daughters bravely laid bare their pain as they paid tribute to the boxing champion at his funeral today saying “I love you daddy”.
Ferne Hatton, 12, and her sister Millie, 13, both stood before a packed Manchester Cathedral and told how their world had been turned upside down since Ricky was found dead at his home on 14 September aged just 46.
In moving eulogies which left the crowd – both inside and outside the cathedral – in tears, the girls spoke of their pride in having Ricky as their dad.
And they told of the heart-breaking extent of their loss.
Millie said: “My heart is in a million and one pieces that you aren’t here with me and everyone else who loves you dearly.
“I wake up every morning wishing you were here.
“You were seriously the funniest person I’ve ever ever come across and I’m lucky enough to call you my dad.
“I can’t help but wonder why. Why did you feel that way?
“Why didn’t you reach out about how you felt?
“Everyone else and I will forever wonder those questions.
“I can’t help but think about how you will never walk me down the aisle, how you will never meet my children and your grandchildren, that you won’t be here to see me leave school and you won’t even see me grow into an adult.
“I fear every Christmas, Easter, birthday, Tenerife holiday, and especially Father’s Day, knowing that you aren’t here to meet you laugh until my stomach hurts.”
She told how she cherishes her memories of singing Oasis anthem Live Forever in the car with her dad, and going on trips to the pub with him.
And she added that while Brits knew Ricky has one of our greatest ever sportsmen, she loved him best when watching the TV show Grown Ups and singing Oasis songs.
She added: “I genuinely hope you don’t ever think that you have let me down because I would never, ever think that. I love you and miss you unconditionally, Daddy.”
Her sister Fearne also showed great courage to pay her own personal tribute to Ricky.
She told the congregation: “I can’t believe that you are not here anymore, and that I have only known you for 12 years.
“Even though I have only spent 12 years of my life, knowing the strong and inspiring person you are, I can’t help but wonder why. Why have you gone so quick?
“I’m having to realise that you will be out of my life more than you have been in it.”
Fearne told how she loved going bowling with her dad and playing mini golf and how she loved spending time at his home in Gee Cross, Gtr Manchester, playing darts.
She added: “The thing I admire most about you is how you make the people who feel unseen feel known and how you bring a smile to everyone’s faces.
“You are known as Ricky Hatton in the Ring, but I’ve only seen you as my dad, even in the ring. I’m so proud of you words can’t express.
“I will never change the way I think of you because you are now gone.
“I love you so much, Daddy, and I will miss you more than you will ever know. More memories won’t be made but our memories I have already made you will be.
“This isn’t a goodbye forever because I know I will see you one way or another. I love you so much, my one and only daddy.”
Ricky’s son Campbell, 24, who followed him into boxing racking up 16 fights before retiring, also paid tribute to his dad.
He said: “Never have a father and son had so much in common. Whether it be our looks, as we’ve been told so often, our music, the same sense of humour and personalities, our love for Man City, going to the pub, butchering songs on the karaoke.
“And the s*** jokes that I’d nick from you and that even though he’d never admit it, you’d nick from me.
“When we were together, there was an undeniable bond that we shared, which has given me some of the best memories and laughs I’ve ever had.
“I’m so proud of my dad that it’s hard to put into words, not just his boxing career, the one of a kind fan base and the things that made him the People’s Champion.
“But because of how happy we all were when we were together.
“I can’t explain how much I’m going to miss you dad. I’m heartbroken we’re not going to be making any new memories. But the ones we have, I’ll cherish forever.
“I’ll try my best to do you for proud and now you’re at peace. I love you so much.” A tribute to Ricky – always known as Richard by his mum Carol also read out.
Carol detailed how her son was born with two black eyes after a difficult birth involving forceps at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport.
She recalled: “I told Richard many years ago, ‘Son you’re living the life of an express train’.
“His reply was simply, ‘Mum if I was to die tomorrow, I have lived my life already with no regrets.’
“The Hitman was adored by his army of fans, the People’s Champion, and he would say that’s how he wanted to be remembered.
“Long before this accolade, he was our little champ from the day he was born. Hopefully, our son has now found eternal peace. That would be our last wish.
“Rest Easy, son. loved and remembered forever, mum and dad.”
Prior to the cathedral service, Ricky’s funeral cortege travelled two hours from his home in Hyde past some landmarks including the AO Arena where he had some of his best fight nights.
Outside the Cheshire Cheese pub close to Ricky’s home, landlord Tony Cooper, 57, said: “He was a local lad and this was his home from home.
“He would come in, have a Guinness watch the football and just be himself.
“He was a nice genuine man. He will be missed.”
Rita Ellis, 60, said: “He was just a decent bloke.
“There weren’t any airs and graces about him, and had time for everyone.
“He deserves this turnout today. He was one of us!”
Rob Knowles, 27, took a day off work to pay his respects.
The internet installer said: “I didn’t know him but sometimes people have an impact on your life.
“I grew up watching his fights and I think it meant more because he lived just down the road and there was always a chance of seeing him in the street.
“Everyone wanted to be a boxer and be Ricky Hatton.
“It’s a sad day but a great turn out for a great champion.”
