A LOVE Island star has a secret celebrity friendship, we can reveal.

Helena Ford’s secret celebrity friendship has been unveiled after she was snapped in a showbiz pal’s photo.

Blonde beauty and cabin crew Helena, 29, is hoping to find the perfect match on Love Island 2025.

The gorgeous influencer is mates with Love Island alumni Zara McDermott, who entered as a bombshell back in 2018, but only lasted 10 days in the famous villa.

And now, we can reveal that Helena has ANOTHER famous pal.

When Chloe Goodman walked down the aisle to footballer Grant Hall in a stunning ceremony in Portugal last summer, Helena was in attendance.

Appearing in unearthed snaps from Lauryn Goodman‘s sister Chloe‘s wedding, Helena can be seen posing with Amelia Goodman, whom she is pals with.

In photographs shared by Amelia a year ago, Helena could be seen donning a blush-coloured frock as she stood with Amelia and the pair beamed.

Amelia, who was a bridesmaid for her sister Chloe, was seen donning a midnight blue silk gown.

Cuddling Amelia as she wiped a tear from her cheek, Helena was seen smiling as she wrapped her arms around her pal and held onto her iPhone.

“Love is Hall you need,” Amelia penned in the caption of the photo dump that was shared a year ago.

At the time, Helena commented on the series of snaps, writing: “My forever better half.”

Other commenters were the likes of Luca Bish‘s sister Claudia who left a string of heart eye emojis.

Chloe Goodman also shared a sweet message to her sister Amelia, writing: “The best maid of honour.”

Helena has even more famous pals though, and is friends with Piers Morgan’s son Spencer and Gary Lineker’s son George on the outside.

The stunning blonde beauty has already had an explosive start to her Love Island journey after entering the villa on Monday.

Love Island 2025 full lineup

  • Harry Cooksley: A 30-year-old footballer with charm to spare.
  • Sophie Lee: A model and motivational speaker who has overcome adversity after suffering life-changing burns in an accident.
  • Shakira Khan: A 22-year-old Manchester-based model, ready to turn heads.
  • Blu Chegini: A boxer with striking model looks, seeking love in the villa.
  • Megan Moore: A payroll specialist from Southampton, looking for someone tall and stylish.
  • Alima Gagigo: International business graduate with brains and ambition.
  • Tommy Bradley: A gym enthusiast with a big heart.
  • Helena Ford: A Londoner with celebrity connections, aiming to find someone funny or Northern.
  • Ben Holbrough: A model ready to make waves.
  • Megan Clarke: An Irish actress already drawing comparisons to Maura Higgins.
  • Dejon Noel-Williams: A personal trainer and semi-pro footballer, following in his footballer father’s footsteps.
  • Aaron Buckett: A towering 6’5” personal trainer.
  • Conor Phillips: A 25-year-old Irish rugby pro
  • Antonia Laites: Love Island’s first bombshell revealed as sexy Las Vegas pool party waitress.
  • Rose Selway: Beauty salon owner from Devon who runs 12 aesthetics clinics, boasting a famous clientele including former Love Islanders

Departures:

  • Kyle Ashman: Axed after an arrest over a machete attack emerged. He was released with no further action taken and denies any wrongdoing.

She and one of the boys enjoyed a sleepover in the private Hideaway boudoir just 56 hours after meeting.

Helena and hunky semi-pro footballer Harry Cooksley, 30, spent the night together in the hidden suite on Monday.

At the time, a source told The Sun: “This is the fastest sleepover in the Hideaway in Love Island’s twelve series history – and what a gorgeous pair to do so.

“In the past, producers had to invite Islanders to use the breakout bedroom which meant the love nest was generally not used until couples became more established.

“But producers have changed the rules of the breakout bedroom so it can be used at any time, without an invite.

“It means Helena and Harry could take advantage of the ‘no invite needed’ and explore their connection.”

Gary O’Neil lined up for football return as Championship side prepare to sack boss after disappointing end to season

GARY O’NEIL tops Sheffield United’s wanted list as they look into a change of boss.

O’Neil has not worked since leaving Wolves in December but has big admirers at Bramall Lane where Chris Wilder’s position is being put under threat.

Chris Wilder’s job is under serious threat[/caption]

Wilder, 57, is going to have to handle the new American owners giving him players based on AI data — as we revealed.

The experienced gaffer wants a handful of his own targets — but if they do not happen, there will be trouble ahead.

Wilder wants experienced players like free agent Jimmy Dunne and old boy Oli McBurnie, while Chris Mepham is another possible arrival.

But the new advisers are working on a deal for a mystery Bulgarian right-back, which could spark a major row.

Wilder signed a new deal in January and the compensation would be huge, a problem that may stretch the new owners’ finances.

But O’Neil is in line to get the SOS call, although he is also a potential target for other jobs.

O’Neil, 42, was not in the market for work after his Wolves exit but is now prepared to take the right job.

Former Hull boss Ruben Selles is another live candidate.

Blades may also name a new director of football, with Bristol City’s Brian Tinnion tipped for the post.

Sheffield United finished third in the Championship last term.

Wilder’s men led the table at the start of April, but a poor end to the season saw them slip into the play-offs.

The Blades comfortably saw off Bristol City in the semi-finals, only to be beaten by Sunderland at Wembley.

Shoppers are ditching ‘dry’ Jaffa Cakes in favour of supermarket own brand that ‘taste better, & are half the price’

SHOPPERS are in a frenzy over a supermarket dupe of Jaffa Cakes, after branding the original Mcvitie’s cakes “dry”.

Jaffa Cakes are one of the nation’s favourite sweet treats, with Brits across the country choosing to dunk them in their afternoon cup of tea.

However, some snack fans have become disappointed with the “dry” texture of McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes, choosing to switch to cheap knock offs instead.

Posting to Reddit, one biscuit lover shared that she recently treated herself to a packet of the Mcvitie’s branded snack, hoping they would taste as delicious and spongy as she remembered them growing up.

However, after sinking her teeth into the orange flavoured dessert, she was left extremely disappointed.

“They’re dry af. That ‘spongy’ bit? It’s not the same spongy bit I remember growing up.

“It’s like drywall. I had three, just to make sure I wasn’t going crazy, and they were all the same.”

The disappointed woman then revealed she dished the remaining cakes out to her friends, who confirmed that the snacks did not taste as good as they used to.

“Has something changed?” she asked.

“Have false memories allowed me to remember an absolutely supreme experience whilst munching on these delights?

“Or have they just decided to change the whole recipe to save a few quid?”

The post was flooded with comments with social media users, who suggested alternative Jaffa Cake brands the snack fan should try, and many said the same thing.

One person said: “Off-brand Jaffa cakes have been superior for a few years now. Aldi ones are pretty good.”

A second person said: “Aldi cherry bakewell ones are sublime.”

A third person said: “The Aldi ones are far superior now.

“Succulent, citrusy and generously jellied.”

A fourth added: “Buy the Lidl and Aldi own brands.

“They taste better, have more filling and they’re about half the price.”

Aldi’s own brand Jaffa Cakes come in a variety of different flavours including cherry bakewell and passion fruit flavour for just 99p.

Shoppers can also snap up Aldi original flavour Jaffa Cakes for £1.25 for 300g, much cheaper than the Mcvitie’s version which are on sale at Aldi for £2.75 for 330g.

M&S also sells its own version of Jaffa Cakes for £2.10, whilst Tesco‘s own brand offering is priced at £2.

‘One person can save them’ – NHL boob flasher urged to ‘help’ Edmonton Oilers beat Florida Panthers in Stanley Cup

THE Edmonton Oilers tied up their tense Stanley Cup finals match-up with the Florida Panthers – and have been urged to bring back their ‘good luck charm.’

Kait Flynn has gained significant online notoriety in the past year after going viral for her boob-flashing role in the Oilers run in last year’s post-season.

In last year’s playoff run, Kait had a moment of madness as she showed her boobs in the middle of the NHL Conference Finals against the Dallas Stars match in game five.

The Oilers fan was spotted celebrating in the stands throughout the game before flashing her chest by lifting her team shirt.

Then she began to shake her chest from side-to-side, before dropping her top and turning to face the camera in amusement.

Kait caught some flack for her the display that went viral but she told the Spittin’ Chiclets podcast: “We were all going crazy. It wasn’t planned or anything – it just kind of happened.”

She would follow up her newfound fame with a signed deal with Playboy, who announced her as the “Oilers good luck charm.”

Though not spotted at last season’s Final as the Panthers would edge past their Canadian rivals to claim their first ever Holy Grail, the 35-year-old has been urged to appear in this year’s edition.

The Edmonton club are aiming to end a 32-year Cup drought after coming back in Game 4 overtime to level up proceedings.

Fans joked they need her good luck again with Barstool Sports sharing a picture of Kait projected in the sky in the way Batman is summoned.

The caption read: “Only one person can save the Oilers.”

One said: “They need here more than ever bros.”

A second said: “You know it!”

Another added: “Definitely can’t hurt.”

Two of the Oilers’ next three games will be played at home – maybe she might make a special appearance as the city of Edmonton continues to be enthralled by the Finals.

His sudden and untimely death left family, friends, supporters and his club reeling.

Tristan played over 100 games for Pontnewynnd AFC and played a massive role in their promotion to the Gwent Premier League.

As a mark of respect the club is retiring Tristan’s number 3 jersey and plan to hang it in the changing rooms.

He was described as “kind and humble” by those who knew him with Pontnewynnd AFC releasing an emotional statement following his death.

A vigil was held for Tristan today at Lasgarn Pitch where he spent so much of his time playing the game he loved.

Tristan’s mother, Gemma O’Keefe, requested the vigil be organised to honour his memory.

A GoFundMe has been set up to help Tristan’s grieving family pay for funeral costs.

A massive £4,000 has already been raised, more than half of the £7,000 target.

Tristan’s family said an “indescribable void” had been left in their hearts.

The statement from Pontnewynydd AFC reads: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the devastating news of the passing of one of our own — Tristan O’Keefe.

“Tristan wasn’t just a talented footballer — he was a bright light in our club, a kind and humble young man who brought energy, joy, and strength to everyone around him.

“Loved by his teammates, respected by his coaches, and cherished by all at Pontnewynydd AFC, Tristan was an integral part of our unforgettable undefeated league campaign — a journey that led us to promotion to the Gwent Premier League.

“His presence was felt in every game, every training session, and every moment off the pitch.

We will never forget you, Tristan. You will always be a part of Pontnewynydd AFC. Forever 19. Forever our Number 3.”

Terry Leonard, a coach at Pontnewyndd AFC who trained Tristan for several years, said: “He has left a lot of blood, sweat, and tears on this field.”

Adding: “He has always given me 100% whenever he wore the jersey.”

“I feel very privileged to have been a big part of his life and can only wish I could have done more.”

A statement attached to the GoFundMe reads: “On 11/06/2025, we tragically lost Tristan—a beloved son, brother, and friend.

“At just 19 years old, Tristan’s life was full of promise, laughter, and love.

“His passing has left an indescribable void in the hearts of his wonderful mum, his beautiful sisters, and all who knew him.”

Majority of Brits say UK ‘is in decline’ and fear civil unrest as bombshell poll reveals people feel poor and hopeless

THE UK is “in decline” and could erupt in political violence, most Brits think according to a bombshell poll.

The findings paint a grim picture of modern Britain – revealing that people feel poor, do not trust politicians and have little hope for the future.

Some 68 per cent of Brits say the country is “in decline” while 65 per cent say it is “already broken”.

And 76 per cent are worried about the potential for political violence, according to the survey by pollsters Merlin Strategy for the political movement Looking for Growth (LFG).

Dr Lawrence Newport, co-founder of LFG, said: “Voters are not just feeling crushed economically, they are now fearful that political violence could ensue if the Government does not reverse the country’s decline.

“When a system stops delivering and people stop believing, things break. That’s where we are now.”

The worrying results come as Ballymena in Northern Ireland has been engulfed in days of violent riots which have left dozens of police injured.

They were sparked by protests against two boys of Romanian descent accused of raping a local girl turned violent.

Last year, Southport erupted into riots after cops refused to give details of the teenage boy who stabbed girls at a Taylor Swift themed dance class.

Reform UK voters are most gloomy about their country, with 81 per cent saying Britain is “broken”.

But half of all Labour voters also think this.

The cost of living crisis is fuelling the fire, with four in 10 adults saying they feel poorer since Covid.

Pollster and Founder of Merlin Strategy Scarlett Maguire said: “The public are in despair at the state of the country.

“These findings underline the bleak mood amongst the British public and the lack of trust in politicians to turn things around.”

Sir Chris Hoy opens up on ‘death sentence’ cancer diagnosis and vows to show ‘life goes on’ after new sporting event

SIR CHRIS HOY vowed to prove “life goes on” for cancer sufferers before his return to race car driving.

The British Olympic legend revealed last October that he’d been diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer the previous year.

The cycling legend is living life to its fullest, so much so that he recently returned to the race car world[/caption]

The six-time cycling gold medallist’s diagnosis was sadly a terminal one and doctors gave the Scot between two to four years to live.

And Hoy, 49, is determined to live every day to its fullest, so much so that he decided to give race car driving a go again.

Hoy famously switch two wheels for four after retiring from cycling.

And this weekend, he took part in the Dark Horse Stars class of the Mustang Challenge, which is on the bill of the famous Le Mans 24.

Hoy, who raced in the full Le Mans in 2016, hopes living out his final days doing what he loves will inspire other cancer sufferers to do the same.

He told TNT Sports: “I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer almost two years ago now, and it shocked me, it rocked my world.

“It changed everything in one sentence, you’re told that’s not curable, but it’s treatable.

“So suddenly, you have this death sentence, and it’s terrifying, but I’m here to show that life goes on for many people in that situation.”

After completing the race, a delighted Hoy took to Instagram to write: “What a few days at LeMans.

“After my cancer diagnosis 20 months ago I never imagined I’d be back racing here again, so when the opportunity arose courtesy of Ford performance and Jay Ward to take part in the Mustang Challenge Invitational I grabbed it with both hands.

“The Circuit de la Sarthe is a special place and the magic never fades, it really is a privilege to drive on this historic track.

“As my team mate for the week, Chris Harris said, you never turn down the chance to drive at LeMans.

“Speaking of Chris Harris, it was a blast to hang out, talk cars and learn from him.

“What a job he did in Race 2, P12 from 31st on the grid, making 11 places in lap one amidst the carnage and bringing the Tour de 4 liveried #77 home in style!

I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer almost two years ago now, and it shocked me, it rocked my world.”

Sir Chris Hoy

“I managed P20 from the same grid position in race 1, very happy to have had some awesome battles throughout the 45-minute race and get a proper hit out after frustrations in qualifying.

“Massive thanks to Academy Motorsport team for all their hard work and support, what a great bunch they are.

“And finally, best of luck to all the drivers in the 24 heures du mans, I wish you a safe and successful race.”

Hoy will attempt to raise £1million for UK cancer charities with a charity bike ride in September.

He said: “The bike ride is to try and get as many people together as possible.

“Not just people suffering with cancer but anybody.

“To show we can keep on living, make the most of every day and live in the present, because that’s all any of us have.”

A man was pronounced dead at the scene, on Scott Street, while an eight-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man were taken to hospital for treatment.

Two firefighters also sustained minor injuries and received medical attention.

Police Scotland Chief Superintendent Nicola Russell, Divisional Commander for Tayside, said: “Our thoughts are with all those affected by this incident.

“Investigations are at a very early stage to establish the full circumstances of what has happened.

“We are conducting a joint investigation with Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.”

First Minister John Swinney, the MSP for Perthshire North, wrote on social media: “Terribly sorry to hear of the death of a man in the fire in Scott Street, Perth.

“I express my sympathy to his family.

“Concerned also for the condition of those who are receiving hospital treatment.

“This is a major incident and I am thankful to the emergency services.”

Kinross Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Eric Drysdale, added: “I would like to send sincere condolences to the family and friends of the man who has tragically lost his life in this incident.

“My thoughts are also with all the other people who have been affected by this very serious fire. “

“I wish to praise the significant immediate response from all the first responders and especially our brave firefighters who hurried towards this major fire and put their lives at risk to rescue occupants from the building and tackle the blaze.”

The blaze was discovered by police officers patrolling the area at around 1.50am.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and the Scottish Ambulance Service were also alerted and raced to the scene.

Neighbouring blocks of flats were evacuated, with residents being supported by partner agencies.

Deputy Assistant Chief Officer Andy Girrity of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, firefighters found the roof of a four-storey residential building well alight.

“Initially, three appliances were mobilised, but due to the severity of the blaze and structural collapses, a total of twelve appliances were involved at the height of the incident.

“Five casualties, including one firefighter injured by falling masonry, were passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.

“The incident has now been scaled back, and two appliances and one height vehicle remain on scene to dampen down hot spots.”

Road closures remain in place at Scott Street and South Street, with members of the public asked to avoid the area.

A temporary airspace restriction has also been put place for the Scott Street and South Street areas of Perth until Wednesday.

The restrictions include drones. Cops said anyone found in breach could be committing a criminal offence.

A rest centre for evacuated residents has also been set up at the Salutation Hotel.

Those displaced have been promised “suitable alternative accommodation” in addition to food, clothes, replacement medication, toiletries, toys and help with their pets.

‘Stupid’ – Josh Rock hits out at ‘disrespectful’ World Cup of Darts rival’s on-stage antics

JOSH ROCK has hit out at World Cup of Darts rival Devon Petersen for his antics on stage.

Rock and Northern Irish partner Daryl Gurney claimed victory over the Petersen’s South Africa to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The South African star is claimed to have poured his drink on Daryl Gurney’s darts case[/caption]

Rock, 24, was not pleased with the antics of Petersen during the match.

Petersen was continuously talking during the match but it was the moment he spilled some of his drink over Gurney’s darts case that crossed the line.

Rock hit out at the act after the match as he claimed the South African was “disrespectful”.

He said: “Devon started talking for the bull-up and it got me fired up and then he decided to pour a bit of a drink over Daryl’s case.

“I think it’s a wee bit disrespectful in my eyes.”

Gurney also slammed Petersen for his talk during the match and joked he would be a millionaire if he was paid per word.

He said: “If Devon was paid for every single word, he would be an absolute millionaire because not once did he shut up.

“Even in the bull pen he was at it and it annoyed him [Josh].

“It was the worst thing he done.”

Gurney did insist that he was able to block out the South African so it did not “bother” him.

He added: “The only time he did not talk was whenever he was throwing, but that’s Devon’s game.

“I told him [Rock] that because I played South Africa before and Devon did the exact same, I just blacked him out this time and it didn’t bother me.

“I shouldn’t have messed about whenever I had those three darts at 32 and then I shouldn’t have done a stupid one, a blind 180, because that’s just stupid.

“That’s playing into Devon’s hands, but at the same time, Devon loves it and he’ll go back, and the first thing he’ll say is ‘Oh, you see what I did? I made Daryl do this’.

“But, no, glad to get the result. We’re in the draw and that’s the main thing that matters.”

The Northern Irish pair will now face neighbours Ireland in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Irish ace William O’Connor has already complained about the conditions at the World Cup of Darts.

The Limerick-born thrower has insisted that it is “too hot” on the stage to get the best from the players.

Elsewhere, Belgian star Dimitri van den Bergh has announced he will NOT be returning to darts full-time after his shock retirement.
