Asylum seeker GUILTY of threatening to kill Nigel Farage after posting chilling ‘pop, pop, pop’ gun gesture vid

A MIGRANT has been found guilty of threatening to kill Nigel Farage after making a chilling gun gesture video.

Fayaz Khan, 26, also told the Reform Party leader he would marry his sister while travelling to the UK from Sweden.

Southwark Crown Court Khan was detained shortly after his arrival in the country via a small boat.

The Afghan asylum seeker has now been found guilty of making a threat to kill.

Footage showed Khan, who has a tattoo of a Kalashnikov assault rifle on his cheek, addressing “English man Nigel”.

He tells the MP: “You do not know me. I come to England because I want to marry your sister.

“Don’t talk about me more. Delete the video.

“I’m going to come to England. I’m going to pop pop pop.”

Khan then points at the gun tattoo on his cheek before pretending to headbutt the camera.

The clip was posted on October 14, 2024 – two days after Farage shared a video entitled “the journey of an illegal migrant”.

Prosecutor Peter Ratliff said: “In that video he noted that the focus of debate had been on the numbers of migrants coming to the UK, but not who it was who was arriving.

“The words he used were that these were ‘Young males of fighting age coming into our country about whom we know very little’.

“In that video Nigel Farage highlighted the example of the defendant – by using his own social media posts – as an example of someone who plainly did not have any legitimate claim to be in the UK, but who would be in the UK in a matter of days.

“Nigel Farage’s video prompted a violent reaction on the part of the defendant.”

Giving evidence, Farage said Khan came across as threatening in his TikTok videos and that his tattoo was “particularly aggressive”.

He added: “The response [to my video] was pretty chilling.

“What he says is that he’s coming to England and he’s going to shoot me. I understood very clearly as did many other people.”

The court was told Khan, who is being assisted in the dock by a Dari interpreter, had lived in Stockholm, Sweden, since 2019.

He had garnered a big social media following under the name Madapasa.

After police seized his phone, officers found he had posted about Farage before.

Khan, of Sheerness, Kent, will be sentenced at a later date.
