A listener shared that a woman who works with her husband recently reached out to her on social media, claiming that he is having an affair.

In the same message, the woman confessed that she too had once been involved with her husband and went on to ask for forgiveness.

Now, Anonymous is left questioning whether the apology was sincere or if the confession only came because her husband has moved on with someone else.

Writing to The Best T in the City with Tbose, Anonymous wants to know if there could be blind spots she is missing in this situation.

“A few weeks ago, I got a DM on Facebook from one of my husband’s female colleagues. She said she was coming to me woman to woman. Her message started off calm – almost gentle – but then she dropped a bomb: she told me my husband was cheating with another woman at work. But what really shook me wasn’t the accusation… she confessed that she too had once been involved with my husband. She said it ended months ago, that she had “moved on,” but she thought I deserved to know the truth.

“At first, I laughed it off – bamshayengestina lo! – but inside, something in me broke a little. Because she was talking about my husband. Now I’m conflicted. If she reached out out of kindness, why did her message feel more like a confession than a warning? And if she’s truly over him, why did her tone sound so personal?

“I’ve been sitting with her words, rereading that message over and over. My husband, on the other hand, has been his usual self – loving, attentive, as if nothing is wrong. And that’s what messes with me the most. Do I confront him and risk breaking something that might not even be true? Or do I ignore it – and live with the doubt – knowing that somewhere out there, someone may be holding the truth I can’t see? Because sometimes, the real betrayal isn’t just in what was done, but in who decided to tell you… and why. What could be my blind spot?
