All the awkward and messy things Bonnie Blue’s family have said about her grim challenges

Bonnie Blue is everywhere right now, from her bang bus tour across the UK to nightclub appearances, chaotic stunts, and that headline-grabbing documentary. But behind her multi-million-pound empire is a family who have somehow managed to support everything she does.

Born Tia Billinger in Nottingham, Bonnie’s early life was about as far from the OnlyFans world as you can get. A quiet, middle-class upbringing, dreams of becoming a dancer or even a midwife, and apparently a very normal school life. One former classmate told The Mail: “I was completely gobsmacked when I saw her all over the media this week”.

Then there’s her mum, Sarah Billinger.

“Was it something I’d have chosen for her to do? No,” she said she said on The Reality Check podcast. “But all you want is for your kids to be happy, and she is happy. If you could earn a million pounds in a month, your morals would soon change and you’d get your bits out.”

Sarah also shut down criticism about her parenting: “She’s got no daddy issues, she’s not been abused – all these things people insist must have happened. It’s her choice.”

Bonnie’s dad, meanwhile, is basically her unofficial marketing manager.

“My dad’s got my business card in the back of his phone case,” Bonnie told the Dream On podcast. “He takes it to the pub with his friends.” Forget LinkedIn, this man’s networking over pints.

He’s even joined her on filming trips, including one to a Derby County vs Norwich City match where Bonnie and her friend Sophie, erm, created content during half-time. Why a football game?

“We thought it’d be a great opportunity to find married men because they’d be away from their wives,” she told the podcast.

Even Bonnie’s gran is said to be on board, though some relatives apparently had to look away during explicit bits of her documentary. Understandable, to be fair.

But while Bonnie’s parents are thriving, the in-law department isn’t exactly sending Christmas cards. Her ex’s mum, Gill, can’t stand her.

Bonnie said her husband Ollie originally encouraged her career.

“I didn’t think I was pretty enough,” she said, “and Ollie told me, ‘No, you’re beautiful. Do it.’”

However, after the pair split, Gill accused Bonnie’s “evil” team of cutting her son out of the business.

“My son is no longer on the payroll,” she told the Daily Mail. “It seems he’s not entitled to a penny.” Tell us how you really feel, Gill.

Even Bonnie’s friends have commented. Her friend and fellow performer Katy Bampton admitted she’s worried about Bonnie’s increasingly wild stunts.

“I know this is something Bonnie’s wanted to do for a while, she told The Sun, “but there will be real costs to her wellbeing.”

So, to sum up: Mum’s proud, Dad’s doing PR in the pub, the ex’s mum’s furious, and the friends are begging her to chill.
