In season four of Selling The OC, Alex Hall finally moved on from Tyler and introduced the cameras to her new boyfriend, Ian Young. Although the other agents weren’t all fans, their relationship seemed to be going super well. They even bought a house together in Temecula at the end of the show. Selling The OC viewers wondered about their relationship status, since Ian hadn’t featured on Alex’s socials for a while. Alex Hall has now finally confirmed that she has split from her boyfriend Ian after Selling The OC. It all sounds really messy.
Alex Hall explained on her Insta story: “It’s been a complete clusterf*ck. I moved to Temecula with an open heart, but some things came to light that did not align with that I want mine and my kids’ future to look like.

“I no longer have my home in San Clemente and all my furniture and belongings are currently in a storage facility, and the kids and I are in a short term rental in Dana Point. We are looking for a home, but haven’t found one yet.
“Sometimes you can have the best intentions, but reality just doesn’t play out the way you imagined it would.”

Alex hinted this autumn that she was struggling with her personal life. It now looks like some of Alex’s cryptic comments could have been referring to the split with her boyfriend Ian after filming for Selling The OC had wrapped. She shared in an Instagram post at the end of September: “Coffee and crashouts might be my new trademark. The last six months of my life has been a complete whirlwind. A time that I hoped would be the happiest of my life somehow is turning out to be one of the hardest. And that’s ok! It’s life! Highs, lows, magical moments, catastrophic moments, undeniable pain and grief, along with undeniable happiness.”
