According to Pnet’s Job Market Trends Report for August 2025, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the world of work in South Africa, as the demand for AI-related skills skyrockets by 77% year-on-year.
Specialist roles such as machine learning engineers and data scientists are on the rise. Meanwhile, traditional jobs like content creators and financial clerks now require AI knowledge or skills to stay relevant.
