About the Service Consultant Role
As a Service Consultant, you will work directly with clients to understand and fulfil their banking needs. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, building strong client relationships, and contributing to branch performance through service excellence and responsible sales support.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / National Certificate (Vocational)
Experience (Minimum)
- 3 to 6 months client service experience in a retail, financial, or banking environment, or
- No experience required if the applicant holds a relevant tertiary qualification
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Ideal Experience
- More than 1 year client service experience in retail, financial, or banking environments
- Proven experience in sales and client-facing roles
Ideal Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or a related field
- Certification in Finance or Banking
Knowledge Requirements
Minimum Knowledge
- Basic calculations
- Understanding of a retail or consumer service environment
Ideal Knowledge
- Capitec Bank products
- Internal business processes and procedures
- Organisational policies, including Branch Credit Granting Policy (BCGP) principles
Skills Required
Applicants should demonstrate the following skills:
- Strong communication skills
- Interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)
